Left on 02/19/2009 for a stay in July 2007
We loved the location so much, we rented again. The house and accomodations are quite favorable for the money. The yard is beautiful and big enough to play games and let pets run around. Our only complaints are the condition of the beds (they are quite old) and the couches should have slip covers(they are quite dirty) We put up with the beds and draped sheets over furniture and had a great time.

My family has stayed at Harbor House many times in the last 15 years. I particularly like it as the kids were upstairs, parents downstairs, and I never had to look at unmade beds and unpacked suitcases! We hadn't been back there for several years till this summer. I still like the location (second row, but very close to oceanfront), the nearly private beach, the floorplan of the house (my daughters are messy adults), and the yard (which is much better now than in the past). However, the whole place has a rundown appearance. While the kitchen is better-equipped than it was and there has been some new paint, most everything else is the same furniture, paint, carpet, etc., from years past. I would like it to have the freshly polished and decorated look that it had 15 years ago. We may go back for the features we like, but we were disappointed, and are looking at other places for next year.

No need to look at other places! New this spring-Microfiber yellow sofas, beachy living area rug, wicker bedroom furniture, mattresses, upstairs carpet and exterior painting. Recent upgrades-stove, built in microwave, painted kitchen cabinets and upstairs bedrooms and bath, and expanded exterior shower/dressing area just to name a few!
