The home was lovely. We enjoy it's close proximity to the beach access. This year will be our third year at this rental and we have no desire to look at anything else. The only down side we have are the mosquitoes. We love to sit on the swings on the lower level but the pesks try to carry us away!

The owners of this property and Emeald Isle Realty should be ashamed of themselves for renting this prperty to anyone. Mold was noticable throughout the entire rental unit.

I assure you that we will check the condition of Harbor House West, but we have not had any other reports of a mold or mildew issue. Please let us know of such concerns during your stay as we have a highly trained housekeeping staff who can determine if what you are seeing is mold or mildew and then treat it so your vacation isn't spoiled. I am happy to let you know that when we do investigate a report of mold, it is most often discovered to be mildew which is caused by the humidity of our area.

The house has easy access to the beach. We love Emerald and come back every summer with friends. This time our group was very small and Harbor House East has enough space and affordable price for our group. The kitchen had all necessary utensils. My teenage son loves go fishing and he enjoyed doing some catch for dinner. The bedrooms upstair dont have a good view. In general we had a good time.
