We loved the house and the quick response to a clogged sink. Being able to sit on the porch and watch the dolphins play was such a treat as was being able to walk right out the door to the ocean.
We were disappointed that the windows didn't open, however, so that we could enjoy the ocean breezes. And somebody needs to talk to the Town of Emerald Isle about that light post that's outside the street-facing bedroom. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of the day!
But definitely two minor flaws in a lovely week at the beach.

I rented Star Deck East, Star Deck West and Surf du Soleil properties for all of my family and wedding party to stay during the wedding weekend. We all enjoyed it and all properties were side by side.

My family has vacationed at Emerald Isle for many, many years and we love it. It's a great place for families to spend time together and make wonderful memories. I especially love the bike route that has been added.

We stayed at this duplex due to it being right beside the wedding party. It was a nice place to stay and was decorated nicely. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but were ok for just two nights. The home had a small stereo system which was good for listening and dancing with friends. I would say the home gets crwoded when you have maximum staying at one time. We had 9 staying and it could get crowded on main level when all were there. But overall, a nice and clean place to stay.
