Perfect house for three families! Great view. Easy access- loved it all. Would possibly like to see the hot tub usable even in the summer, considering some of the cooler weather and nights- but that's it! Just lovely!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cottage is perfect for our family. The weather was absolutely gorgeous all week. A great time was had by all.
we really enjoyed staying at something fishy even though the reason we came at that time was to watch football and we had no cable for the whole week it was still a great house. the set up was very comfortable. this home was not our first choice, we were planning on staying on the sound but hurricane olivia changed that for us by washing out the banks on that side of the island. emerald isle realty took very good care of us though. i would stay in this home again probably.
After being away from Emerald Isle for 20 years, my family jumped at the chance to return for a reunion after a family wedding in Oxford, NC. We rented this property as well as another smaller property on the beach for our group of 20-25. The beachfront house turned out to be the quiet getaway and we used Somethin' Fishy for dinners, games, and pool time after a day on the beach. The house is set up very well for reunions, with a nice combination of beds for couples and kids alike. The pool table was a major draw for everyone, and the pool was perfect unheated. The jacuzzi was a nice touch as well. I know that Emerald Isle is a regular summer getaway for east coast families, but I highly recommend it for left coasters as well!
Lovely home with easy access to the beach. Great views of the ocean from most rooms.
Bed configuration is a little confusing so be sure to get details before you rent.
