This home is by far the best home on the coast. It is beautiful, well maintained with everything you could possibly need. Large enough for a big group not to feel crammed with nice touches such as high end bathrooms. Well decorated and comfortable plus managed wonderfully.

For seven years we've spent the week including the fourth of July at anna Victoria and even though it's pricey, we cannot think of having another house. What more could anyone want? Two of everything in the kitchen, a beautifully landscaped pool, a movie theater, a pool table, seven bedroomsm each with its own bath, four laundry rooms, countless TVs, including the one in the living area that rises from a chest...on and on...needless to say, we love it!

The house was marvelous in every way. The arrangement was wonderful, it was comfortable and everything was in working order. It is obvious that the owner cares about her guests having a grand vacation in a house that feels like home. We were impressed with how tidy and clean it was. We loved the media room. This was an extravagant opportunity to be with family and dear friends. The graciousness of anna Victoria made us all feel indulged. The kitchen equipment especially was high quality and in generous quantities necessary for a large group. The beach and sound views made it very special indeed.

The house is beautiful and near perfect. The only problem we ran into was an exterior light timer that had gone haywire, and IE was very responsive -- the owner even called us to make sure it was fixed!

found the house could have been cleaned better, the ceiling fans were very dirty along with the wall vents which are coated with dust & dirt.
We were without gas on the first night until 8pm so it was very difficult to cook dinner without a gas range or gas grill.
Also, we had traveled for 13hrs & wanted showers but without gas we had no hot water.
The cleaning person, Tina, told us she reported it to maintenance but @5pm I had to call maintenance myself & was told it was now it was an emergency situation. The company that delivered the gas did not light the pilot so another call to maintenance had to be made.
A lot of hassle for the first night.
I called housekeeping for an iron on Monday & didn't receive it until Wednesday.
Seth in maintenance was very polite & really tried to fix the hot water problem since the owners have to approve it, it took a long time.Response from Emerald Isle Realty, Inc - 01/03/2012

I am sorry your stay got off to a rough start. It is true that the owner of this home requests all work be approved but fortunately, the turn around for such approval doesn't take long. I am happy the housekeeper did report that the gas tank was empty so we were able to get the gas filled for you quickly. I do apologize for the inconvenience though.

The house was beautiful. We found some cigar stubs under the rocking chairs on the middle outside deck facing the ocean. Other than that everything was great. The only issue we had at check in was the inability to get in the house until after 4 PM as it is a specialty house. We weren't told this when we booked and confirmed so we had to alter plans, grovery pick ups, etc.

This house is a perfect fit for an entire wedding party. Our family and friends were very pleased with the house, location and Emerald Isle Realty.
The only down side is, well, you have to go home eventually and it is so hard to get a June-August rental week. Our October wedding was just fine and the weather was perfect! -

Spacious, modern, beautifully decorated -- had every amenity we could ask for. We would definitely stay there again. The service however could have been better -- the elevator was broken for 2 days (and we needed it with an elderly family member), and the second dishwasher and the hot water in one of the bathrooms did not work and were never fixed. Otherwise, the place was fabulous.

We had our wedding at the anna Victoria. It was beautiful! We housed our wedding party of over 20, and it accomodated us all with room for more. The house has several neat features, my favorite being the great showers! Nearly all of their showers blast you with water from all directions...loved it! The cleaning staff was very friendly when we arrived. The place looked great, and we had such a good time. We are already talking about going back! And one thing to add...the views are gorgeous!!

This house has such a great flow there was room for every one to be relaxed and enjoy each other. The kitchen was so well stocked we cooked dinner each night with no muss, no fuss. Plenty of cupboard space for groceries and every dish, pot, pan or utensil you may want was handy. The decor is warm and inviting. The house is clean and easy to keep. The separate dining room gave the adults space to enjoy quiet conversation, yet the children were close at hand.

The anna Victoria and its ammenities and location provided something for each member of our family-- for our 3 year old to the teenagers and adults in our exteneded family (17)reunion. The home is unbelieveable with quality craftamanship throughout. The many bedrooms and baths accomodated everyone comfortably. We made good use of the pool table, theater, pool and quick walk to the beach.

This vacation was my retirement gift to my children and granchildren. In total there were 8 adults, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and my oldest granddaughter's fiancee. We were only missing two of my adult children and my granddaughter's husband who had just deployed for his third tour of duty to Iraq. The house was even better than anticipated. Every kitchen tool was supplied down to an apple corer. The grandkids all had pictures posted on their Facebook accounts. My oldest granddaughter got engaged on the beach while we were there, so this will always have a special meaning to her. I can not say enough about the house, the maintenance staff, etc. The convenience of the four washer/dryers was an added bonus - no dirty laundry to deal with when we arrive back home. It was truly a restful vacation. Thanks Emerald Isle Realty. You were great to work with, this being my first experience with anything like this, i.e. renting a home for a week for 23 people.

The Anna Victoria provided the perfect setting for this years Thanksgiving family retreat. The house is amazing, with all of the amenities one family could ever ask for. I speak for the entire family when I say that we can't wait to return there again in the near future for our next family vacation!

Anna Victoria, "The Queen of the Beach". We have admired this house from a distance on several previous stays at Emerald Isle. Always envious of those who were staying there. But this year was our experience. It was more than ample room for our extended family of nineteen, with something for all four generations. It gave each of our four adult-pairs the luxury of our own bedroom suite, while still accomodating the children in range from thier "twenties" down to the "toddler".
First the ocean view. As good as any other on Emerald Isle, if not the best from the upper floor ocean front bedrooms.
Second, the pool and outdoor hot tub provided hours of fun and relaxation when the sun became too hot or the surf too rough. A great retreat for the evenings, especially with the outdoor stereo system.
Next, the indoor amenities were more than ample. A great kitchen that could easily handle the many family meals we prepared (we have some pretty good cooks). Two over-size Refrigerators, two ovens, great gas cooktop range, plentiful dishware, and two dishwashers. The large, informal dining table and breakfast nook provided all the seating for nineteen. Though it could use an ice maker. Never enough ice for the frozen blender drinks (what a tragedy! ;)
And as for the bedrooms, every room is a suite with its own full bath. And of course the four rooms selected by the adults all have oversized showers with full body spray nozzles, and three with jacuzzi tubs. The hot water never ran out, and taking a quick shower was out of the question.
And last, but not least, the entertainment. The first floor game room equipped with sofas, wet bar, mini-refrigerator, stereo system, and pool table provided for many hours of late night comaraderie between siblings and cousins. And the "coup de gras" home theater, fully outfitted with plush theater style seats was great for inclement weather, with over 100 movie selections.

Everyone who walked into the house loved it. The wedding party's walk down the boardwalk and onto the beach was easy to photograph. The guests moved easily through the house. No one felt crowded.
My son's comment after we arrived was "I have a dilemna. The beach or the theatre room." Such a problem.
The adult favorite part of the house was the stained glass and antique furniture.

We have been with EI Realty now for 8 years. This is our first year at Anna Victoria. It was a bit daunting at first because the property is huge and we are used to the manageable property Hushpuppies. The owner called to make sure we had everything we needed and that was very thoughtful. We loved the house, the openess of it, the views, the luxury, and especially the 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers! I will have to say that the pool was not warm enough to get into until Wednesday, even though it had supposedly been heated the week before. When I called about it, I was immediatly questioned why I hadn't called earlier. I said that I didn't know it wasn't warm until it was warm. Coincidentally, the pool man had been there that very morning. Also, late in the week we found a book buried under some others that told us everything we needed to know about the property, i.e, lights in the pool, movie theater instructions, etc. This book should have been left out in plain sight. It would have saved us a lot of time. One more thing: I don't think we were supplied with beach towels like in previous years. Maybe they don't do that anymore. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with EI Realty and the Anna Victoria again. We already have it reserved for next year and have started counting down.

We travel to beach every year and this home suited our family great we loved the layout and the open kitchen was the best we had a total of 6 families together with children and we loved being able to eat together and sit together. The fishing was good and we have already booked the home for this coming year...

We rented Anna Victoria as the central location for our daughter's bridesmaids and other wedding guests. The home is beautiful, well-equipped, and perfect for entertaining. Most memorable were the "Prelude to the Kiss " pre-wedding cocktail party held outside and all over the house; an outdoor post-wedding brunch; and generally "just hanging out" for those staying in the house and in nearby cottages. The huge great room and adjoining dining areas, the pool room, and the theater were great assets. What beautiful memories we made!

We rented Anna Victoria for the week of our small December wedding so that out-of-town family had a place to stay. We liked that it has 7 bedrooms plus all of the pull-out sofabeds. We made use of most of the space. We also liked the interior design which is more victorian elegant than beachy. Our wedding ended up inside due to cold weather, and the group of 25 fit in the main living room area with no problem. The caterer brought 2 or 3 tables for her food set-up and it all fit in the living room area, too.
The younger crowd made use of the ground-floor living space, and it was nice to have all of their noise away from the grown-ups who tended to hang out upstairs. Some even had time to make use of the movie theatre which is really awesome!
We did not use the pool or hot tub much due to cold weather, but the atmosphere around the pool is very inviting. Private beach access is nice, too.
One problem we encountered...in the winter when the sun is low on the horizon, it shines right into the main living room through the large windows. It got to be SO HOT in there that the heat never kicked on, so the north-facing bedrooms on that floor were ice-cold. Most renters will be there in warmer months and not run into this problem. Other than that, I don't remember any real complaints.
Bed Linens and other gear that we needed was provided by a local business, Island Essentials. They were extremely helpful when we realized we needed to rent a few items.

Our week at Anna Vic was fabulous. The house and the weather were gorgeous. The house had somthing to offer everyone. From the pool table to the media/rec room to the pool with the outdoor speakers. The short walk to the beach was the best part of all. The only downside was having to have the elevator fixed and one of the dishwashers breaking down. We loved this house so much that we are returning this year for the same week. We count the days till were back at that shore and at Anna Victoria!

We try to stay at this house every year and it has been a great experiance. This past year however we had some issues. When we arrived after a 5 and a half hour drive, we had to call to have the linens dropped off. Then we had to make our on beds, which by the way were 10 of them. We asked for the pool to be heated and it was not heated until half way thru our stay. We had a leak thru the ceiling in the kitchen from one of the upstairs bathrooms. The house is beautiful and has a lot of extras that the other homes do not have, but it needs some work done to it. The rental agency needs to be more aware of the house being ready for the guest to arrive, and any extras that were added like for the pool to be heated. We got an extra night stay for free and $70.00 taken off our bill, which was great. I would stay here again for Bowl Week 2009, but it is already booked for that week. Again, this is a beautiful house with lots of extras that are really nice to have. Awesome theater room!! Beautiful pool area with great landscaping. Accomidates alot of friends and family at one time, and still it is plenty big enough for your on space and time to get away. Loved it!!
