The location of this house was great! Unfortunately, the owners have neglected amny features such as plumbing, ceiling fans, sliding doors and worst of all pest control.
Tubs backed up, fans broke, handles fell off doors and there were palmetto bugs throughout our stay. -

The location and the beach were awesome. We think of going back next year for at least two weeks. We would nevertheless not rent the same house because of the lack of maintenance (bathrooms would need updating as well as the kitchen, including the fridge and sink, the patio doors were difficult to open and the picnic table should be replaced. The house however was clean and the service was excellent (we phoned housekeeping because we needed more wine glasses and got them shortly thereafter).

We love Emerald Isle and have rented through Emerald Isle Realty for many years. Temco East was in a great location - it was perfect for riding bikes, walking to the pier, etc. The property itself was okay- the upstairs bathroom was not very clean (mildew around bottom of shower casing) and wallpaper is peeling off the wall; the oven door would not completely close, kitchen utensils look dirty but are actually clean, just very stained; and one of the sliding doors to the deck was so hard to open we just didn't use it. The tv was great, and the extra table for puzzle making was nice, too! :)

We stayed with family last year and had so much fun we could'nt wait to come back. This house was great ! The kitchen had everything we needed and then some . Two coffee pots was great we have caf and decaf drinkers. Plenty of pots and pans and nice dishes. Nice tv's and dvd players .Lots of extra blankets and fans. Perfect area of the beach close to the peir but not crowded . Great family beach kids loved it,No partys or kids gone wild . Looking forward to bringing the grandkids next time.

This was the families 2nd visit and was enjoyed as much this time as the last. The check-in went with out a hitch and the home was well equpiped for an enjoyable family vacation.

Very nice and clean with plenty of room. Had everything we needed. Only problem we had was when a storm came in the upstairs ceiling in the bathroom leaked really bad. Had to put a beach towel on the floor to catch water. Some of ceiling fell on floor also. Only happened 2 days out of 7 so was not bad just a mess.
No porch on the deck but we had alot of cloud cover, so it was not that bad, with a great breeze.
It is nice to walk right off deck to the beach.
Checking in and out is a breeze with the realty. They have everything in order and only took a few minutes.
