What Past Guests Are Saying
First Time Beach Vacation
It was great!! Loved being so close to the beach! For the price, you cant beat it! Living room/kitchen could be updated (brighter) a bit, but it was a nice house for the price.

Thank you for your review. Channel House South does provide a great value and an even better location. I'm happy that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to your next visit.
This home is need of much repair on the interior and exterior. Ceiling fan was reported to maintenance as ready to fall and no one showed up to fix it. Furthermore, you never mentioned that the beach at the Point was disappearing rapidly and there were sand bags everywhere. We were very disappointed in this house and it was not worth the rental. Unless it has been updated since our stay, we do not recommend renting this home. The aforementioned comments are from our heart. Other homes we have rented are worth the fee, but not this one. Please check into this before renting the Channel House.

Thank you for your heartfelt comments. You'll be happy to learn that the Beach Renourishment Project and Channel projects have done wonders for the point. During our last big storm, a time when beach erosion is usually at it's worst, the skillful engineering of these two projects caused sand to be added at the point, instead of swept away. I can't speak to the ceiling fan incident, since 2006 is a little far back for my records, but I can honestly say that safety issues take priority over anything else we do. Please contact me at email@example.com. I'd love to discuss this further with you.
