Cottage, 3 BR, 2 B. Q * Q * B, T. Island Club linen service with beds made. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV with DVD player in each BR and living area, ceiling fans. All BRs and living area face ocean and have great ocean views; one bath on each level. Decks on both levels with porch rockers; swing on first floor deck, charcoal grill, enclosed hot/cold outside shower. Boardwalk to the beach accessible from ground level and first floor deck. Weekly only. No smoking. No pets. 1903 Ocean Drive.

The 19th Hole Cottage has a great location in Emerale Isle but the bathrooms need some serious updating and cleaning. The ants that we dealt with was another concern. The carpet also had the smell of mildew.

Nice house. Great kid room that sleeps 6. Big two car garage that the little kids loved (bikes, etc). Water pressure in the downstairs shower was too low and the upstairs bath was difficult to bath youngsters (we had 3 year olds) because of the sliding glass doors. Every room has a sliding glass door and is ocean front. Living room was a bit small but there are T.V.s in every bedroom. The private outside shower was loved by all! There is a public beach access right beside this house but we didn't notice too muich extra traffic, probably because it's 5 miles from "town". Overall, a nice 1-2 family vacation spot.

We loved the house it was perfect for our family, and there is no doubt I would rent this house again. The only thing I would change is what the kitchen was stocked with. Everything was very old and past its day of vaction use. We used paper plates and plastic cups because there was soo much film on the ones at the house that we couldnt wash it off no matter how hard we tried. I would recommend they restock the kitchen with all new items because it would make staying there a nicer experience. Also the downstairs bedroom sliding door sticks and it's almost impossible to get open from the outside. It was kinda a pain since we used that as our bedroom. The porch is great and has a beautiful view. Also I liked that i did not see any "Palmetto" bugs aka the american cockroach, like I have at a couple other places on the island. Other than some minor things they could improve we had a great vaction experience at the 19th hole!!!

Nice house, good location. Does not have a covered porch, so it was difficult to sit outside and read. House was well equipped and well maintained. I would rent it again.

One of the best vacations we had. The oceanfront location with the porch swing and rockers made for great relaxation and ocean viewing. The kitchen could be a little better equipped, but we managed. It is a great value for the price. Great for small and moderate size families. Parents can sleep downstairs and kids upstairs.

Absolutely love Emerald Isle, NC. It has nice clean beaches and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. It is nice to spend time on the beach without all the noisy tourist crowds. The isle gives the illusion of being isolated but it is located within a 10 min drive to many nice activities, attractions and shopping stores. "The 19th Hole" has nice spaceous rooms with lovely ocean views and a beautiful deck facing the ocean. Emerald Isle Realty provided wonderful service and made booking, check-in and check-out very easy and pleasant.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for us. The beach was beautiful and it was a peaceful and relaxing stay. It was close enough to the grocery store but far enough away as well! The swing on the deck was wonderful after a day on the beach and watching the stars from the upstairs deck was so peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
Negatives:
1. Cleanliness of the bathrooms. I re-cleaned the showers twice with softscrub and greased lightning to get all the film and soapscum off.
2. The doors to the deck upstairs were difficult to open and close as well.
3. The glass tables downstairs and the windows were dirty/filmy. I cleaned these as well. -
