This was a nice cottage with 4 bedrooms and three baths. The enclosed outside shower was a great feature. The kitchen contained plenty of dishes and glasses, but the pots and pans should be replaced. Would have been a problem if I had not bought a few essentials with me. Our 3 grandkids had a great time on the beach just steps from the cottage. Emerald Isle Realty is a wonderful agency to work with from making the reservations thru leaving the island. Repairs to rails with exposed nails were made in less than 24 hrs after reporting the problems. I would have rated the cleaniness with 5 stars, but the dining/living area carpet was badly
stained. The kids love the beach, putt-putt, the NC acquarium and shelling. It was a great week!

A Williams Retreat was nicer (interior) than it looked in the pictures-a pleasant surprise! Appears to have been painted recently, nicely decorated, serviceable kitchen, great beds (a real plus-usually the beds in rentals are pretty bad!), nice area of beach where the dunes aren't so wide, lots of rockers on the two decks. The enclosed outside hot/cold shower was in pretty bad shape, but everything else was very nice. We had a great week!
