Club Med, it's not. But, CCW has everything you need to enjoy the natural beauty of the Chrystal Coast and relax with family and friends. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and are coming back in 2013 for a third. The fixtures, furniture, bathrooms are outdated but for the $, you can't beat it! There's lots of sleeping space and 3 full bathrooms. There is a huge chalk board in the main room where you can organize the week's meals and activities or just doodle - a quaint touch. We have many fond memories from CCW and look forward to many more!

We love Emerald Isle! We've been vacationing her for about 12 years. This was our first stay at the Carolina Clipper. Loved the house. Loved the reverse floor plan, plenty of room for our family. The service was great; a bannister in the home was broken and was repaired quickly on Sunday morning. The beach was wonderful, as always. Our favorite thing about our vacation at Emerald Isle was, as always, we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Not have to worry about a thing!

Carolina Clipper is a very spacious house. We have a large family and rent both sides. With the connecting door open, the living area is huge. The house is older, but has been well maintained and is stocked well with everything you need for a great vacation. If there is a down side to this house, it is that the deck is in need of repair. One of the deck boards actually broke while we were there. I have rented in EI for almost 30 years now, and this house is one of the best I've rented.

We had another nice stay at Carolina Clipper West this year. This was our third stay there. The place is very bright and has a great view of the west beach from inside. The bedrooms are very comfortable and quiet. The living space is roomy and comfortable.
My only complaint was that the unit was short on glassware (wine and drinking glasses). The TV needs to be upgraded to something newer like a Flat screen.
Other than that we love the place and will use it again next year.

This is our 35 year at emerald isle, it is just like coming home.We started in a 2 bedroom and now our family fills 10 bedrooms. Emerald Isle is our special place. -

We love the rental. This is our second year staying there. It is very spacious and bright. Nice view of the Ocean. We appreciated the owner letting us stay an extra day for free. That was a real surprise.
All in all we plan to rent it again next year.
