Dish Network TVs (40” flat screen in living area, flat screen in MBR with DVD), wireless high speed Internet access, CD player, free long distance, ceiling fans throughout. Screened porch with rockers and picnic table, charcoal grill, enclosed hot/cold outside shower. Excellent view of ocean and sound from upper deck. No smoking. No pets. 11202 Inlet Drive at The Point.

Best about this house: location(3 doors away from the Point)& views from the 2nd story porch. Great views of the ocean around the houses in front of you on the ocean, & to the right a clear view of the Point where the ocean meets the sound. Also, less expensive than many 2nd row houses. That being said, this was our 2nd year in this house, and it appeared very tired, and would benefit from a deep cleaning and a coat of paint everywhere. Also, the decorating should be edited. Less fake flowers & nicknacks would leave more flat spaces open for renters to put their own stuff. Pest service had been there, we found dead bugs, but didn't have problems w/ bugs. Did hear mice in the ceiling upstairs last day & reported it.

Thank you again for your suggestions. I'm pleased to let you know that the owner of this duplex has been working hard to update it for this year's rental season. Some of the updates include the addition of plantation blinds throughout, new wood flooring in the place of the carpet in the living, dining room, and kitchen, and the kitchen countertop has been replaced with granite and a new sink installed. The house has a terrific location with particularly good views from the top deck. It is a slightly older home, with three bedrooms and one full bath upstairs. The downstairs has a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting/dining area plus another full bath and laundry. My family and liked it so much that I plan to rent it again next year.
Our only issue was with the air conditioning on the living level, which was fixed with two window units.Response from Emerald Isle Realty, Inc - 07/26/2012

Two bedrooms on top floor with huge doors that open to the breeze right off the ocean. Other bedroom on other side of house still has great views also. We did not even turn on the AC because we did not even need it. One minute walk to beach, views from all directions. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots and pans, cookware you would need. Large screened porch has four rocking chairs and picnic table for great meal times. Internet is there, see codes on bullentin board for wireless. Washer/Dryer there so you can keep up with all those towels. Great stay.

The location is nice short walk to the beach. The kitchen needs some utensils(measuring cups). It is hard to find things they need to be labeled where they go. The back door needs a new door knob it is hard to lock. And there was little bugs in the kitchen.
