This beautiful oceanfront duplex named "DUNE BOYS" has a gorgeous new pool that is lit underwater for spectacular nights. Each side has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The main bedroom is oceanfront with a king bed, private covered balcony and incredible ocean views. Two more bedrooms each have super comfy queen beds. While the fourth bedroom has your choice of 2 twin beds or bunk beds. There are 4 flat screen TVs to catch your favorite programs and sports events. This cottage is located in the middle of Emerald Isle with the ocean on one side and Bogue Sound on the other. It's a slow paced, laid back environment of lush greenery with small shops, casual restaurants and lots of wide, pristine beaches. You'll want to use the dedicated bike paths to go everywhere!

If I could bottle the entire weekend I would. From watching a beautiful sunset to waking up on the deck outside the master bedroom it couldn't have been better. The kids loved the pool and I liked being able to enjoy watching them and the ocean at the same time. Location couldn't be more convenient. I would highly recommend Dune Boys and would definitely return.

We had a great week at the beach despite some weather predictions causing concern. Couldn't ask for a better location and more relaxing vacation. Accommodations were roomy enough for our group of 8 and could have accommodated a few more! Pool was enjoyable especially for a late night swim...washer and dryer on premises, plus a place to store our pool/beach toys was great too...enjoyed grillin, sitting on the deck and the ever present view of the beach! Brian was great...and we hope we have the opportunity to come back again soon! Kathy and Friends

Brian was wonderful to work with. The pool was such a nice addition, and right on the beach. Our dog was welcome and she loved walking on the beach with us. The beach is very clean and feels safe. Accommodations are not luxurious but clean and nice. Restaurants and grocery within 2 miles. We did not experience one problem during our stay.

After having spent years vacationing at and enjoying OBX/Hatteras Island and getting "Hurricaned" out this year we chose to go the extra 2 hrs and 90 miles to try Sobx's Emerald Island and stay at Emerald Isle. Booking the house, the friendliness and professionalism of the realtor was amazing. The house was great, clean, bright and airy with everything necessary to have a great relaxing time. the location was amazing, we go here for the ocean - and the ocean was right there, in view, in sound, and in feel. Having close access to great food shopping and the great stores at the Food Lion plaza was a nice surprise and the nearby seafood market was full of very fresh and tasty fish, shrimp, scallops and clams. Best was the house's location in relation to the beach. The pool was a very nice surprise, it's not large but it fit the bill very well. Being able to have our "kids" (dogs)with us in such a comfortable house made the stay even more enjoyable. We have no negative comments or problems with the house or area. It was nice that the duplex side of the house was unoccupied for most of our stay, and when it was occupied created no problems. However, we're not sure what a full week of sharing space with "difficult" people would be like - hence we have some reservations about returning to a duplex. Just as a comment, we are both very good in the kitchen and, as such, we always bring our own knives and selected kitchen items (spices,etc) as every house we've ever stayed in, this house also, has good kitchen tools for the majority of people. That said though, I can totally understand why professional tools are not placed in these rentals because they would probably "walk" or be abused by uncaring people. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this house and realtor and we would definately consider returning to this house, and/or use this realtor to find us a different house in the same area. Based on the wonderful experience we had this year, we'll be back to Sobx!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dune Boys. Great location with easy walk to the beach. The pool was awesome. House was clean and well taken care of. Mr. Peele, the realtor, was available for all our questions. We love Emerald Isle and will certainly look to rent through angelfish again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation to Emerald Isle and fell in love with the area. Bryan @ Angelfish Properties was very accomodating in helping us find a house on very short notice that would allow pets. The house suggested was located in a nice, quiet area on the beach and provided plenty of room for the 5 of us. The saltwater pool was a nice treat as well. We look forward to many more trips to EI.

We were very impressed by the exterior of the house, especially the teal shutters. The beach house had great accomodations! It was beautifully decorated in appealing colors and had all the comforts of home. Plenty of bedroom space, two full baths, and roomy kitchen/ living area. Beautiful panoramic ocean view. Our favorite attraction was the new, oceanfront in ground pool with plenty of comfortable poolside furniture. Loved the pool lighting for night time entertainment. The house's location was a perfect distance to shopping, seafood restaurants, and the fishing pier. Great vacation spot! We highly reccommend Dune Boys!!! :)
