We had a perfect family vacation. The house was clean, comfortably furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. The family on the other side of the duplex was very similar to ours and we are all planning to come back next summer. The view from the family room was spectacular. We really enjoyed the pool area -- especially at nap time.

Beautiful home;wonderful pool

The service from Emerald Isle Realty was timely and professional. The house had all the amenities we needed, however we were disappointed to have the bunk bed on the main floor. Our favorite was the salt water pool.
My sister and our families rented both sides of this duplex and had a wonderful time. The layout and ammenities of the house were just what we needed. And the pool--perfect!. When the adults were ready to leave the beach, there was no whining from the little ones because they could go back to the pool. We will definitely return.
The rental was great. The experience might not have been as strong if the other half of the duplex were rented that week. It's always hard to tell how neighbors will mix and share the deck, and outside areas.
The house was nice.
The only things that were dirty/damaged were the kitchen chair covers...the master bedroom carpet...and several strips were missing off the window blinds in a few bedrooms.
Over all, the house was great.
My husband would have liked to had more comfortable seating in the living room...i.e.rocker/recliners.(He liked Ocean Watch West's living room furniture a lot...we've stayed there twice over the past few years)
This duplex, has had the prettiest outside decking/pool type area of all we've stayed. It was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the pool and covered gazebo area tremendously!
My wife Dina and our family have been using Emerald Isle Realty for over 20 years for our vacation rentals and the service they provide never falls below excellent. We made a mistake two years ago and went with another agency because of a property a friend had recommended. Well, the property, service and management were as poor as you can get.
