Soundwave was in a great location with the sound right out the backdoor, and the beach access right across the street. There was space for boats and kayaks, and a cute little deck out back. The only problem was that it was not very clean upon arrival, and there were many fleas on the furniture and on the floor-all of us came back with flea bites! Also, I called to get access to the laundry room twice and never received a call back. I finally found the key to the laundry room, but it was frustrating not to be able to speak with someone. The house was very cute and quaint.

SoundWave was a very pleasant surprise for my family and I. The sound out back was amazing, fun and just plain fantastic for the kids and grown ups alike. and the view from SoundWave was equally wonderful.
The inside accommodations were just right with the exception of the one or two non-functioning, non-cooling air conditioning window units, the absence of outdoor corner flood lights...and the ants...the ants, which were relentless, in everything and everywhere, in the bed rooms, in the bathrooms, in the kitchen, in the oven, on the oven, in the tub, in the shower, in the laundry room, on the car porch and even in our car!, from four or five, to a trickle, to a steady stream to rivers and rivers of ants everywhere and in everything. I think that the exterminators that came to spray were kinda clueless as to what they were doing and totally miss the point of dealing with the infestation, why we even found ants on our kids after they had gone to sleep one night and had to get them up out of bed to remove the ants that were there.
We really loved SoundWave and we intend to come back to it next year or sooner, but for the love of the almighty, please do something about those ants and get better exterminators!!!

This house is in a great location and is decorated nicely. However, there is no
central air and the bedroom window units are very noisy. The house also

the service was good.the house was a very nice place to stay .great large rooms the kitchen;s had everything you need.the location was good every thing was easy to get to.i like staying at emerald isle a good place to take a vacation.

The cottage was spotless and well appointed with easy access for fishing for the kids and just a short trip across the street to the ocean. We spent more time on the deck just enjoying our time together than on any kind of sight seeing...it was wonderful and we hope to make a return trip someday!
