We had a great time. The house had all that we needed and any calls we made to your staff were handled quickly and efficiently. My five year old granddaughter said it best when she told the clerk at one of the beach shops "i'll be back next year."

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. The house was great and had a fantastic location. We loved how well "stocked" the house was (dishes, paper towels, etc). This was our first trip to Emerald Isle. The area was quiet and places were convenient. I wish there was a little more of a main street feel or a downtown area but otherwise the island was beautiful.

We came to Emerald Isle because our daughter was getting married in Jacksonville area. From the moment we stepped into our Windy Point home our wonderful memories began. Our grand girls were on the beach before we could unpack. The home was in a perfect location and the pool was fantastic for our little ones too. Windy Point home had a well equipt kitchen and the linens supplied with our weekly rental kept packing easy. The views of the ocean from our home were spectacular, the layout of rooms were great and the common area roomy enough for all of our four generations. Our first visit to Emerald Isle was perfect thanks to Windy Point and the wonderful Emeral Isle family. The least exciting part of our week was leaving!

We loved Windy Point even though upstairs bedrooms are small. Having the pool plus the expansive and beautiful beach was wonderful. Not to mention the tidal pools that the kids loved playing in. We had a clogged shower drain initially that was very quickly fixed by maintenance. We highly recommend Windy Point and hope to stay there again. This was the second summer for us at Windy Point.

What a wonderful time we had!!! There were nine of us ages 53 to 16 months. We were sad our son could not get off from work (just started a new job) but were glad our daughter-in-law and granddaughter came anyway. The weather was great...a few thunderstorms but we got a double rainbow as a reward. The house was great. The bedrooms were small but we just needed a place to sleep so they were adequate. Living/dining room area is large and comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly roomy and very well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Rec room was nice...loved the pool table although it was tight to use pool sticks on two sides. Pool was great. It was especially good for our tottler as the waves were too rough for her sometimes. The boardwalk to the beach was nice. Part of it is new as is the gazabo. The beach is awesome. We walked most mornings and got to see a new sea turtle nest that had been done the night before. The sea turtle patrol was moving it to higher ground and took the time to explain some things about the turtle to us. We had only a few problems with the house (1) Grill did not work...a new one was brought to us by Tuesday (2)Pool light was not working...reported it but not fixed to my knowledge (3)Roof leaked Friday night during a heavy rain shower(in front room over table)... reported (4)spiders and a few roaches...reported when we checked out. Check in and out was quick with the express service in the parking lot. We would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to friends!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Windy Point cottage. It is spacious and well appointed. There is a new gazebo at the end of the walk-over that is very nice and much appreciated. The boys in our group really enjoyed the outside pool. It was hard to get them out of it to do other things. The downstairs rec room was handy as well. The house comes with a high-speed internet connection. This year there was a router attached to it for wireless connection to our laptops. We look forward to returning next year.
