      Exquisite

This home was truly beyond our expectations. It was more like staying at a friends home than a rental. The owners have thought of everything. The location is ideal, views from within and out of the home are spectacular. We purchased the food cooked all our meals at home as the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want. Dishes and utensils were beautiful and abundant.
This is a property we plan to return to.

      Restful and beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paradise Vista - where the vista is gorgeous. We have rented vacation homes around the world, and this was one of the best. The house is tastefully decorated, full of amenities, and very comfortable. It worked perfectly for our celebration of my husband's 60th, conveniently located on the way to Yellowstone. I loved watching the mountains across from the house at different moments as colors changed.

We had a wonderful vacation in MT/WY and loved our mountain home. It is a stunning setting with panoramic views of the mountains. The house was roomy and comfortable, with every possible amenity. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of towels - truly everything we needed. We enjoyed our time visiting YNP and also the towns of Gardiner (try the elk burgers at Corral drive-in), Livingston (Montana Rib and Chop House - excellent), Bozeman (MSU) and also a trip to Big Ski ski resort (to zipline!). Can't wait to come back! :)

      Perfect in every way

Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in June 2011

The setting/scenery were stunning, the house was the best equipped we have ever rented (in 30 years of renting) - felt like we were at home. Plenty of dishes, utensils, soaps/detergents, supplies - didn't need to run out to get things like trash bags. Lots of Dvds/videos and books of every type. The view from the master bathroom will make you want to spend lots of time in there !
We got groceries in Livingston, and picked up extras (like milk)at the Sinclair gas station/convenience store on the highway.
The location was convenient - close to the highway (10 min)but not too close. 40 min drive to Yellowstone NP Mammoth Springs entrance, 30 min to Livingston. Mountain Home staff was so helpful and website provided lots of very useful information.
Be sure to try some of the local hikes into the national forrests. So much to do in this area - lots of restaurants, drive to Bozeman (what a fun town) rodeo in Garndiner ...
This is such a beautiful and peaceful area, and having such a beautiful home made it a dream.
Have already recommended Mountain Home to three close friends !

Every minute of our stay was perfect. White water rafting, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons. I wish we had another 3 days to see more. Yellowstone was by far our favorite. The home was so beautiful. Everything was brand new and cozy. The open room was excellent for the kids.

We loved Paradise Vista. When we first got there we couldn't believe the beautiful view of Emigrant Peak. There was plenty of spreading out room which means a lot after hours of car travel. We saw mountain bluebirds, coyotes, and there were adorable alpaca's nearby. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the small town of Emigrant. I would definitely go back. It was one of the best trips of my life,

Central Location with Drop Dead View

Left on 11/19/2009 for a stay in September 2009

We decided in August to take a driving vacation in the fall - we live in MN and also wanted to be able to take our Chocolate Lab along with us if possible. Undecided on a specific destination we took out an atlas and looked at all possibilities that we could accomplish in a week - with still time to explore the area. We settled on the Yellowstone area; neither of us had been there since we were kids. That lead us in search of the specific area we wanted to stay and the type of accomodations we wanted. We've had great success in renting vacation homes in Florida from local, independently owned/managed vacation rental companies. We started searching web engines, etc. and my husband started calling fishing guides in the area - everything we heard or viewed convinced us to try "the ladies at Montana Homes". Their website is thorough and they were very helpful in whittling down our search - including homes that would accept our dog.

We settled on Paradise Vista in Emigrant, Mt. The home is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped for cooking; which was important (as it turned out) because there are few out-to-eat options close or even available during this particular season (post summer-pre winter)although Chico Hot Springs is very close and a can't miss for both soaking and fabulous food.

The views from each side of the house - 2 mountain ranges - are spectacular.

Paradise Vista is located about halfway between Livingston and Yellowstone. One tip and a slight disappointment for us - we had planned on spending almost every day exploring Yellowstone; when we arrived at the gate the first day we found that a park fire precluded us from access to much of the park. Checking on access prior to arrival might be a good idea. But options are plentiful and we found much more to occupy our days!

As many have commented in the home's guestbook - Paradise Vista is fabulous home-away-from-home to return to following a busy day of sightseeing and activities.

      Fantastic home

Left on 07/31/2009 for a stay in July 2009

This house was amazing and had everything one could think of. Every room was tastefully decorated and the house is very clean and modern. We enjoyed the beautiful veiw from the house and location was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone Park. Mountain Home did an excellent job with providing a very through information before the trip. I have rented vacation homes many times before and have to say this was the best experience I had with renting a vacation home ever. I cannot think of one thing to criticize. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the house and Montana.

      Wonderful views, great location

Left on 04/25/2009 for a stay in July 2008

My friends and I found the Paradise Vista home to be nearly perfect as
a base for fly-fishing in Paradise Valley. It is close enough to
Yellowstone to make the trip there easy. The Yellowstone River itself is
a few minutes away and the Livingston Spring Creeks are just a short
drive as well. Coming back to a beautiful home with fabulous views, a
big roomy living room area and a gourmet kitchen really capped off
what were three nearly perfect days on our (too short) stay in Paradise
      Valley.

If you are looking for a quiet upscale home to rent in a beautiful
region with outstanding trout fishing, I don't really see how you could
do better than this. Can't wait to get back myself.

      Impressed

Left on 04/24/2009 for a stay in September 2008

Myself and a friend of mine actually rented this property in 2007 as well for four days to celebrate my 50th birthday.
I will never forget the sensation upon opening that front door the first time. You see photos on the internet and think yes this looks nice. But to our amazement we stood still for a few seconds in awe as to what we just stepped in to! This is an absolutely beautiful home with contemporary but homey furnishings and decor. Every amenity you can think of is at your disposal and all done in high end fashion, no skimping here!
Now for location. I've often thought when I get back to Montana after this recession crisis, would I rent the same home or try another. Well I'm still not sure because how can you top being nestled between the Gallatain mountain range and the Absaroka's?
I really had trouble deciding which window to look out from!
On our first trip we fell in love with Livingston and our second trip, Bozeman. As an artist I'd have a tough time choosing between the two. There is something for everyone and we found the locals very friendly. They often gave us scoops on backroad day trips which of course were breathtaking!
I highly recommend this visit! The Mountain Home gang and Mother nature will not let you down!
