    Additional Location Information

Manasota Key is a barrier island located on the Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida. The key has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere where there are no high-rises or traffic lights; just a two-lane road with natural, pristine beaches!

With Lemon Bay at our private docks for your boating or fishing pleasure, the pool surrounded by mature coconut palms and lush tropical landscape and the uncrowded gulf sands of the six-mile Englewood beach just across the street, Linda's Resort at Sunrise Pointe is your island paradise that you will want to visit to time and time again.

It is home to wonderful wildlife. You will see dolphins, manatees and other marine life in their natural habitat. Englewood is a beach community that thrives on its cultural events, nature parks, beaches, fishing, boating, golfing and so much more.

Located on beautiful Lemon Bay, off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, Englewood is easily accessible from U.S. Route 41 or Interstate 75 and easily also from all three major airports in the area; Tampa, Sarasota or Ft. Myers.

The Southwest Coast of Florida, and Englewood in particular, has a variety of shells for the serious or just fun-loving shell collector to find. Many of these shells not only arrive on the beach intact, surviving the trip to shore, but are still inhabited and very much alive. Many shells found on Englewood beaches are the Left Handed Whelks, the Auger shells, Coquina shells and, caught at low tide, the Rough Scallop and the Fighting Conch that are great for chowders. Another common find are Shark Teeth that usually come ashore after a storm. Some of these shark teeth are over a million years old, black and brown colored, ranging from a tiny 1/8th inch to three inches long.

You will come to love this area just as I have and never want to leave!

An unforgettable and memorable beach getaway

Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in April 2013

This beach-condo was exactly what we were looking for. Located in a well-kept condominium in Manasota Key, the condo we stayed in was beautifully furnished, incredibly close to the beach (about 3 minutes from the door to the sand) and in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and stores. A full kitchen complements the dining area and living room. A balcony overlooks the pool and jacuzzi area, providing a relaxing area for some fresh air.

Everything about this place was exactly that, relaxing, and essentially what we were looking for in our beach getaway. I plan on keeping this condo on my favorites list as my annual beach vacation spot!

      Best location on Manasota Key

Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Top of the line Condo with elevator and private locked 1 car garage, additional parking available. Located on the Bay across the street from the public beach. Huge 2 bedroom unit with 3 balconies, pool, docks on Lemon Bay. Small complex with "Jim", a full time maintenance person who will even give you fishing tips. 4 restaurants, bait shop, seafood market all within walking distance. We didn't use our car for four days in a row. Linda provides everything, from the most modern kitchen appliances and furnishings to bicycles, kayaks, even a beach cart with chairs and umbrella. You won't find a better place than this on Manasota Key, believe it, we've been coming to Englewood for more than 30 years.

      Perfect Location

Left on 01/30/2013 for a stay in August 2012

This condo was absolutely fantastic! It was very nicely decorated with every possible feature we could need to stay for an extended period of time. Our favorite spot was definitely the amazing bathroom (huge with large mirrors, wonderful showers, and multiple different lighting options), although we enjoyed both balconies too.

By far, the best part was it's phenomenal location. We literally walked everywhere we wanted to go whether that be the local shop, nice restaurant, the beach, or the bay. Just across the street (maybe 200 yards) is beautiful beach with miles to go in either direction. Just down the sidewalk (the backyard deck) was the bay where we spent the majority of our time. We literally kayaked with dolphins and manatees! It was like we were on the National Geographic channel! There were tons of birds, neat fish, butterflies and the like. The area/neighborhood is very friendly and not as touristy as a lot of other places we have been to in Florida.

We're in our mid 20's and had a blast but this is definitely somewhere I would feel comfortable continuing to visit as we get older and have children. Whether we would want a relaxing, private vacation or a family-oriented, fun vacation; this would be the place to go!

Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012

I stayed in the condo from 12/22 to 12/29/2012. Let me start off by saying the condo is beautiful and spacious. The location is very good, just across from the beach. Wish we had warmer weather. The beach would have been great if there was not a red tide causing dead fish to wash up on the it. Nothing you can do about nature! The only negative was the internet service. It was virtually non existant. It is the only reason I would not go back.

Due to the horrible internet connection Steve experienced, I will be getting my own internet service for my unit so guests will not have this problem again.

Relaxing, fun, a Beach day everday!

Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in March 2012

We love the area and location. Just a short walk to three of the best restaurants and night clubs in the area. And a short drive to Venice, Shopping Centers, Designer Outlets and much more.

This spacious condo is on the second floor with an elevator. We have been coming here for the last two years for two months for our vacation. The owners and other renters are friendly. Most renters come back each year so everyone knows each other.

The front balcony is large for entertaining and enjoying the sun rise or set. The master bedroom, tiled bath and walk in closet are spacious and over look the pool.

A walk across the street and you are on the beautiful Manosota Key Beach. Behind the condo is the beautiful Lemon Bay where we have seen dolphins and manatees and plenty of pelicans and other bird life. I am an amateur photographer and I have managed to take some great pictures here. In addition, there is a boat dock and kayak entrance for your use.

This year will be are third year coming here. We highly recommend this beautiful condo.
