What a beautiful stay at the Ennis Homestead Main House. The home is one of 3 in a compound just a block from Main Street, yet it felt very private and serene. We did not use the pool, but the hot tub was wonderful. The pool and hot tub are for use by all three homes, and are very nicely done. A deer and her fawn rested by our home (literally) every day. The home itself was a beautiful old log home, formerly owned by a doctor in the town, and relocated here. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Two of the three bedrooms were small, but very functional. The master was larger and very nicely appointed. What made our stay, despite the beautiful home, furnishings and surroundings was the obviously generosity of the owners. The home was extremely well stocked and you could easily serve dinner to 12 or more. There were abundant spices, coffee, etc. The toiletries were high quality and full sized. There were fresh flowers, fruit and cheese to greet us. Danette, who cares for the home, was wonderful to deal with, and very accessible in case of any problems. You will feel like you are staying in your own home. Enjoy, we did.

I am going to start out with my only complaint. The pool was not ready for us to use the whole week we were there. We were the first family for the season and then it was going to be booked after us and they did not get the pool ready for us, but were working on it for the following week.
The Ennis Homestead Main House is a great place to stay! The town of Ennis is awesome! The scenery around Ennis is awesome! We drove to Yellowstone on two of the days we were there and saw everything we wanted to see.
