Brief Description: This newly constructed log home sits on 11.7 acres overlooking the Madison Range. The home will accommodate 6 guests in three separate sleeping spaces. Just minutes from the home you’ll find yourself in downtown Ennis or the banks

of the Madison River. Enjoy the great ou...tdoors then return to a charming log home with a private hot tub, outdoor speakers and plenty of privacy!

Bedrooms and Baths: The home has two bedrooms, a loft and two bathrooms. The master suite has a king size bed, small flat screen TV, private bath with an oversized shower and access to the deck and hot tub. There is also a desk in the master bedroom

should you need to work during your stay. There is wireless Internet throughout the home. The guest room has a queen size bed and beautiful Kennedy rocker. The second bath is located on the main level across from the guest bedroom and has a tub and shower

combination. A spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the third sleeping area; a loft with another queen size bed and a piano.

Kitchen: Make yourself at home in this fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances including a Wolf 6-burner range.

Dining Room: The dining area is part of the great room with seating for 6 around the table. There are also 4 chairs at the bar for extra seating.

Great Room: The views from the great room are remarkable. Above the gas fireplace is a large HD TV with satellite service. There is also XM radio. Nestle into the leather sofa, oversized chair, or one of the many rockers and enjoy your favorite shows.

That is of course, if you can take your eyes away from the sweeping landscape that surrounds the home. If you’re an avid fly fisherman you may enjoy the fly tying bench in the corner of the room.

Outdoor Amenities: This home has plenty of outdoor space with a huge deck on the backside of the home. You can access the deck from the great room or master bedroom. There is a gas grill, outdoor seating and 8-person hot tub.

Setting, acreage, views: From the home you have an incredible view of the beautiful open country surrounding you. The home is on 12 acres at the end of the road.

Activities nearby: Explore the towns of Ennis or Virginia City, both a short drive from the home. Fish on the Madison River, visit Yellowstone National Park, and enjoy hiking, mountain biking and more. There is so much to do!

Distance to town and airport: The home is located about 10 miles west of Ennis, making it about an hours drive to the entrance to Yellowstone National Park in West Yellowstone. The drive to Bozeman's Gallatin Field is about an hour and a half.Read more

  Mountain Home service is outstanding. We love the home. The location is terrific (although the road is a bit challenging) and the amenities are wonderful. Gorgeous view!!

  A week in paradise

  Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. All the kitchen appliances were of the best quality. We found the cabinets were stocked with many spices and seasonings, a pleasant surprise. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all lovely with very comfortable beds. The hot tub was a definite plus for those cool nights. Of course the view was magnificent! Of all the cabins around, this one had the very best location. It was at the very top of the ridge, not near any others, looking over the valley. Breathtaking!
  
  The towns nearby (Ennis and Virginia City) were welcoming and cute. If you're looking for a vacation with a big city, lots of shopping and restaurants...this is not your place. But for those traveling like we were, there for the scenery and willing to cook, there couldn't be a more perfect place. We will definitely be returning to this very cabin for another stay soon.   Madison Valley Overlook is a great place to stay with a excellent view. The home is out of this world. Ruff road getting to the home, however it is worth it. A little far to travel back and forth to Yellowstone National Park, however we would stay there again, given the chance.

  This was an excellent cabin in a gorgeous location. Easy reach of Yellowstone National Park. Nice grocery store close by. Gas fire place, barbeque grill, and hot tub with view of the mountains.

  A perfect vacation getaway

  The cabin location provides a beautiful view of the Madison Valley and the mountains. The sun rise over the mountain is great. This is about 1 and 1/2 hours to Yellowstone but fishing is great in the Madison Valley. Take the opportunity to visit Virginia City and Nevada City for old west town settings. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be.
