From Shannon/Limerick
When you come out of Shannon, you get on the N18 for Galway. Drive approximately 11 kms and take the N85 exit for Ennis, Ennistymon and Kilrush.
At the first small roundabout, go straight through. Then, at the next roundabout, take the first exit signposted Clarecastle R458 and Kildysert R473.
Immediately after leaving roundabout, take the 1st right, signposted for Killadysert R473 and Ballynacally.
Drive to Ballynacally 13 kms and continue 3 km more until you see a sign for Shore Island View on Left.
From Killimer Car Ferry
From Killimer car ferry, take the road to the right (R473) and drive for about 15 miles. Drive through the village of Kildysart (in the Ennis direction). Keep an eye out for Shore Island View on your right (2.5 miles the Ennis side of Kildysart).

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by anne & Jon Jo & thier lovley Children. The house was spotless and in beautiful condition. The location is so tranquil & peaceful but with a car everything is in easy reach. I would reccomend a stay here we will deffinatly be returning in the near future.

I have stayed here on a few occasions. Waking up to the wonderful scenery overlooking the Shannon Estuary and its islands does the soul good. The natural beauty of this place is matched by the warm friendly welcome of the owners. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated in top-class traditional style and has all modern conveniences. It is absolutely immaculate throughout and is extremely comfortable, spacious and family-oriented. The rural surroundings make a truly delightful backdrop to this newly-renovated country house. It is in an ideal location from which to tour south-west Clare. We found beautiful walks, fishing, friendly village pubs, traditional Irish music and dance and much more in the immediate locality. For a relaxed, peaceful holiday in a splendid location with every comfort in immaculate surroundings, you will not find better than this gem on the hill overlooking the Shannon. Anne and her family were most welcoming and did everything to help make our visits happy and memorable. This is why we have returned on a number of occasions - proof positive of a wonderful holiday!

this has got to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful holidays we have had, a great location for touring county clare,we really enjoyed sitting outside and looking over the islands, very helpful,friendly owners who made us very welcome
