    Additional Location Information

Located 20 miles south of downtown Ensenada, heading toward the famous blowhole La Bufadora in a semi-rural community of American/Canadian expats. Unique location situated on the peninsula with 360 degree views of bay, ocean and mountains. We're 600' above the ocean on the Pacific side of the peninsula. You can hike down to a private beach where there's caves and tidepools. Or if you want easier beach access, you can drive 5 mins. to a 6 mile long white sandy beach on the bayside.

      Relaxing!

Left on 03/04/2011 for a stay in February 2011

Enjoyed the room, hospitality was great, enjoyed the night clubs/restaurants, La Bufadora (Blow Hole), riding quads, Estereo Beach and everyone we met was so friendly. Oh yes and you have to get an awesome pizza at The Mission :)
      Thanks!

      The Perfect Ensanada Vacation accommodation!

Left on 02/07/2011 for a stay in April 2010

What a wonderful week here at the casita, thank you, Janika. We found our way down the "rope" to the beach, to Sharky's for dinner and to the Guadelupe Valle to Wine Country (very cool)! Coming home to the "ridge" was always the best part though what's not to like really, the views go on forever. Lets see, here's the top favorites:
      1. Danny's roadside fish tacos, 2 for $2 - fabulous!
      2. Wine country and the pie store in San antonio de las Minas. My favorite is the Pera Con Queso.
      3. Margaritas at Sharky's and the talking with the locals.
      4. Sweetberry frozen yogurt shop in Ensenada. Try the "natural" flavor. Way good!
      5. Taco Tuesday at La Bufadora Grill - great people.
All in all, great people, great weather, great food = Great trip. Thanks again, we'll be back.

      Romantic honeymoon getaway

Left on 02/07/2011 for a stay in September 2010

The casita is a beautiful place. Pictures don't do it justice. We loved the morning fog and the beautiful lay of the land. I think I broke my camera taking so many pictures! Lol. Our week here was filled with adventures, like day trips into Ensenada, La Bufadora and Estero Beach. We went hikinig into Camp Kennedy and down to the beach below and rode horses in the hills. We went kayaking and it was worth every penny. We cooked up a storm in the adorable kitchen with fresh seafood bought in Ensenada. Thanks so much Janika for making this a memorable honeymood for us!
