A lovely recently renovated Gite, situated very privately from the main house in a quiet and tranquil setting adjacent to the River Lot. Renovated to a very high standard with accommodation available in two spacious double rooms and one twin, in all sleeping six. Very well situated within an easy stroll to the river Lot, and 2.5km to the historic and beautiful country towns of Espalion or about 4km to Estaing. Situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty, quiet yet within easy reach of amenities and transport links (nearest airports being Rodez or Toulouse). Lovely unspoilt views from the property and plenty of walks, rides or outside activities to keep you occupied. The nearby towns of Estaing and Espalion are located within one of Frances most rural departments and offer quiet historic beauty and tranquility, along with some impressive architecture and culture. Further afield you will find the cities of Rodez, Millau, Toulouse and Albi to be well worth a trip. There are also several very highly rated restaurants in the locality.

This is a lovely gite, well equipped and impeccably maintained by a friendly and welcoming owner. Our children (8 and 10) really enjoyed canoeing down the nearby river Lot (canoes are available for hire in nearby Espalion) and swimming at the pool in Estaing (a few kilometres in the other direction). It is close to some good walks too - with the GR 65 running virtually past the door.

The gite and its situation are both delightful and nothing is too much trouble for Mrs Johnson. The lights were on when we arrived late in the evening and we had flowers and home-made jam to welcome us. We were left entirely alone while we were there, yet were able to ask for help and advice whenever we needed it. We'd go back any time!

We had a very pleasant time visiting many of the local towns and villages. We even made it to the Millau Bridge. The area is very interesting and many villages have changed very little. The Gite was very handy for us although we were only two. The wi-fi helped to arrange our mini excursions. We found nothing to complain about although the kettle failed and was exchanged immediately. Made to feel very welcome - many thanks

We got there on a Sunday and should have known better that everything would be shut. But not to worry, our hostess came to an excellent rescue with all we needed!! Lovely quiet house, very clean, very well equipped and sitting outside with a nice view, what more could you need. If there is one thought, we did feel that it might be a bit too full with 6 as there is only one bathroom and the kitchen is not big although perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. Nearest town is Espalion, you'll need a car or bikes.

En octobre il fait bon faire de longues promenades dans ce coin de pays. Mais quel bonheur de rentrer "presque" chez soi ! Chaleur, confort, propreté et possibilité de se faire un bon repas. Tout pour passer de belles vacances sans soucis d'habitation.

A very well presented and charming gite. The location is very convenient - in the country but close to some lovely towns and villages. The walking is excellent and it is a good area for wild flowers - saw lots of wild orchids.
