An ultra-luxurious apartment with private garden on the exclusive beach-side MAR AZUL Resort, with stunning views over vibrant semi-tropical Zen gardens, magical scalloped swimming pools, and the deep-blue Mediterranean Sea. Right next door to the opulant 5 star Kempinski Hotel and within a beach-stroll of the chic "Laguna Village".

My apartment is designed in such a way as to provide the intimate privacy that one may expect from a private villa, AND the views and facilities that you would NOT expect.

My raised ground floor apartment, with spacious terrace & private lawn, is perfectly situated right on the edge of the shallower... inner pool, and overlooks all the stunning pool areas, those spectacularly colourful gardens, and the gloriously blue Mediterranean Sea beyond. Watch the fishing boats drawing in their nets from bed !

Vast full-width sliding doors open from both the master bedroom and lounge onto the sun-drenched terrace, on which there is an attractive glass dining table, 6 comfortable chairs (2 of which recline) and two loungers.

MAR AZUL really is a sophisticated and peaceful haven at the heart of Europe's favourite recreational area. It's outstanding beach-front location is enhanced by the close proximity of the eight wonders of this part of the Costa del Sol's coast-line :-

First, and virtually next door, we have the world-renowned Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona, fully-fitted with “five superior stars”, and facilities to match. You have a choice of 4 restaurants & 2 bars. You just MUST try their Sunday Brunch !

Second, the brand-new MAR AZUL leisure club which is an integral part of the MAR AZUL Resort, and provides exceptional leisure, health and fitness facilities . It comprises a beautiful heated pool, a well-equipped gym, steam room and saunas. My guests have free and unlimited access to all areas.

Third, our latest addition, the “LAGUNA VILLAGE”, consisting of exclusive shops (including Hugo Boss & Amani) , a luxurious beach-club (with white tents & white sun-beds within !), top-of-the-range restaurants, a unique café / bistro, a sushi restaurant, and a tapas bar !

Within an easy 6 minute walk along the beach, and like no other shopping centre in the world, the “LAGUNA VILLAGE” offers the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in a pool or to drink a cocktail on the beach, in between visits to the impressive variety of prestigious shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in this tropical oasis.

Fourth, the Selwo Adventure Park, just five minutes drive away. Here you get REALLY close-up to more than 2,000 animals from every continent, living in semi-freedom in a huge wilderness covering a million square metres. A fascinating tour can be made in a four-wheel drive truck that crosses the different landscapes of Africa without actually moving away from the Costa del Sol. Then take the short-cut back on foot, across several overhead rope walkways, and through the biggest aviary in Europe, an utterly enchanting valley totally enclosed in netting ! If there’s a MUST-DO for all the family, this is it !

Fifth, the ultra-fashionable shops and high-class night-clubs of Marbella, just a 10 minute taxi -ride away, and the amazing harbour and fabulous luxury yachts in next door Puerto Banus.

Sixth, if your passion is golf, the prestigious golf-courses of Los Flamingos and El Pariso;

Seventh, but only if you're a confident driver, the DRIVE up the nearby 4,500 feet mountain of Los Reales, and the view DOWN onto the Griffon Vultures and the Bonelli's eagles BELOW !

Eighth, and I've left the best to the end. Of all the major attractions along the coast of the Costa del Sol, Estepona stands out from the crowd, and it's only 5 minutes in a taxi from MAR AZUL along an extremely attractive tree-lined boulevard with lovely fountains, or a 30 minute amble along the promenades and beach. Estepona is the focal point of this luxury resort area because of it’s authentic and unspoilt Andalusian atmosphere.

Estepona is a real living Spanish town of 30,000 souls, the ebb & flow of Estepona’s daily and seasonal rhythms moves very much as it has done for centuries, reminiscent of another unchanging ebb & flow, that of the shimmering turquoise sea rippling up it’s beautiful wide sandy beach.

The pace of life of the inhabitants, whilst perky in the morning, slows right down as the sun reaches it’s highest point, only to erupt into lively exuberance as the sun sets and the young and old alike fill the quaint narrow cobbled streets, the atmospheric cafes, superb sea-food restaurants, and the locals' bars and tapas bars in all the pretty squares.

The price quoted is for the full apartment. Up to six people and babies. There are no "extras". These prices include electricity, Wifi, & access to all our leisure club & all other facilities on the MAR AZUL Resort.
For our youngest guests there is no extra charge for the use of 2 high-chairs, 2 cots, and a buggy.

  The owner of this appartment is a model owner. It is impossible that something will be missing during your stay. Brian maintains this unit with tender loving care, and it shows in all aspects.
  
  The appartment is very spacious and spotless. The terrace is very beautiful and spacious. We cannot find anything negative to say about the appartment per se.
  
  The location is good, but, as very well mentioned,the beach is not good for swimming. However, we found that the natural feel of the beach had a certain charm to it. Ameneties are irreprochable.
  
  The service and the quality of the appartment are what we liked best, while the slightly remote location is what we liked least.
  
  In summary, we highly recommend Mar azul.

  Superb facilities, total luxury, spotlessly clean and so easy.

  We spent 12 fantastic days in Brian's apartment. Most imortantly, our 2 and 3 year old sons were very happy. They had their own patio and garden, their own bedroom and ensuite, Dvds to choose from and Cbeebies. There was a lovely clean high chair and cot. The local supermarkets and restaurants are wonderful. We spent great days at the beach and most days in the heated indoor pool and paddling in the channelsand little pools in the outdoor pools.
  The apartment is of a luxury standard with the added bonus of home comforts and plenty of necessary supplies on arrival.
  I would recommend it to families or couples without children.

  Fabulous apartment and complex-shame about costa del sol!!

  From our first telephone contact with Brian to his after-stay courtesy call,everything(including his 18 page e-mail of meticulous instrutions!!)was as good as it gets.The apartment and its high-quality fittings exceeded our expectations(and they were high)and Mar Azul itself,especially the pool areas is superb.We were fortunate that the weather was hot,dry and sunny for the whole week.The only downside is the ugly sprawling over-developed concrete-covered mess that this strip of the Costa del Sol has been allowed to become.When we stayed, a huge development west of Mar Azul had come to what looked like a semi-permanent halt presumably due to lacking either planning consent,funds or both and this concrete eyesore with its tall marooned cranes seemed to typify what greed and lack of planning controls sympathetic the the setting has done to what could have been a magical area.Estepona is probably least spoilt of all the coastal parts we visited.On the plus side; drive into the mountains towards Ronda etc and it is stunning countryside and lovely unspoilt white villages.If Brian would move his apartment and the complex somewhwere like the northern part of Mallorca-- we would probably have booked for the next ten years by now!Thanks Brian.

  Apartment with everything you could wish for...............

  I have stayed at Mar Azul for 1 week in the summer for the past couple of years. I am not usually one to go to the same place twice, but I have made an exception for this beautiful apartment in Spain. The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained, as is the complex and pool area. The owner Brian's attention to detail is impressive, with a booklet that explains every detail about the apartment, the complex and the area in which you are staying. I can't recommend it highly enough!

  Even the Germans felt at home

  We came with a rented car, checked in, drove into the underground car park, took the lift and entered the apartment. After a triple "WOW" we felt at home shortly, we were guided through all worth knowings about the equipment. After 4 wonderful weeks my wife and I didn´t want to leave but we had to. We will certainly be back. The reason we came was to escape from cold and snow, it was in the low season, we didn´t miss a thing, except German TV. Birgit and Wolf Böse, Germany

  We (family of 5) had a very nice and relaxing holiday at Marazul Resort. Especially Brian's appartement! Everything you wish is available (gadgets), its very clean and has a beautiful seaview.
