Description from the owner
This cozy cabin backs Roosevelt National Forest and sits at 8000 feet.
The views of the Rocky Mountains are spectacular from the front windows. You can view the elk and deer while sitting on the front covered porch. Or you can hike the well maintained trails right in your backyard. In the evening you can relax and BBQ on the large deck or sit in the hot tub and enjoy the night sky and the lights of Estes.
In the winter you can snowshoe right outside the back door and then enjoy a warm fire in the moss rock fireplace. We have 4 pairs of adult snowshoes with poles for our guests. This is truly a cabin for all seasons.

Once you get to the cabin and take a look at your view you will not want to leave!! These pictures do not do it justice. It is outstanding!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we will be back! Everything we needed was provided. Loved having the washer/dryer with 2 boys that get everything dirty! Nothing was lacking...except seeing a bear! :-) Working with the owner was also very pleasant. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

This is a cozy cabin with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Estes Park. Neighbors are well below and above the cabin, so it feels very private even though it is close to town. We brought a pack-n-play for our one-year-old, which he slept in. There are two comfortable rooms with beds for adults, and a daybed in the living room.

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for 3 nights in august 2011. We loved it from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The views are amazing! The cabin is set on the mountain so you have views overlooking the town of Estes Park, CO. We could also see the Stanley Hotel from the cabin. The cabin is a short drive from the town of Estes Park. We would have stayed in this cabin for our entire trip, however we spent the first 4 days exploring the west side of Rnmp in Grand Lake, CO.
The cabin was very clean and extremely comfortable! It has a washer & dryer so we were able to wash all of our clothes before we flew home. It was very nice to come home with no dirty clothes to wash!! We didn't use the fireplace, but was great to have one. The bathroom has been updated and the owners did a very nice job!
The deck & hot tub were awesome. We could just sit there all day and night with those views. There are houses surrounding the cabin, so you don't have loads of privacy, but we didn't have any issues. We saw a few elk grazing on a shrub in a neighbor's yard and saw our very first coyote at the bottom of the mountain right on the side of the road!

Granted there are other cabins but they are not right next to the cabin. You set above the other cabins. The Cabin backs National Forest so there is no one behind you. Thank you for the nice review we love our litlle cabin.
