Eight of us spent the weekend here and it was lovely. The kitchen is well equipped, there is plenty of room, beautiful views and its close enough to town and the park to be entirely convenient for going out.

We had the best Christmas we could imagine. From hiking to sledding, from shopping to snow-play, it was great to have the cozy and comfortable Brown Cabin to retreat to each evening. The atmosphere was perfect for our daily family time / Bible study around the stone fire-place. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen to enjoy home cooked meals. Jim and Kathy were fabulous hosts. They even had us to their house for dinner one evening (but they can't do that for everyone!). We left with pleasant memories that will last a lifetime.

We always enjoy having people visit and share the magic of winter in Estes Park, a real secret worth experiencing.

Centennial, COSpacious and convenient, but you may encounter small visitors

This is a spacious cabin conveniently located near town and Rmnp. Four of us recently stayed for nearly a week. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch; up there on the hillside there always seemed to be a nice breeze. We also enjoyed the view from the picture window bench. The kitchen was nicely equipped and had plenty of counter space for preparing sack lunches. It's important to know that although the cabin has two bathrooms, it has just one tub and shower (the upstairs bath has a sink and toilet only). When we were there the cabin appeared to have a rodent problem--I found a dead mouse in a trap in our bedroom closet the night we moved in, and a few mornings later we found a mouse belly up in the living room. It was on the floor near a couch that we had earlier decided not to use anymore because it smelled as though it may have been frequented by mice. Despite some disappointment with these encounters, we still enjoyed our stay at the Brown Cabin.

We have regular pest control, but at certain times of the year do get unexpected visitors. We believe we have once again addressed this issue and have not seen recent activity. The rural mountain areas can be a challenge in this area.

My family and I have stayed in this cabin three times now and cannot wait until next time. Very rustic, and inviting; feels like home. Cabin is close to Rmnp entrance, Ymca of the Rockies, and just 5 minutes from downtown. One of the best family vacations we have been on in recent years.

My wife and I stayed in Brown Cabin for 3 months during an extended vacation in Estes Park. During that time we hosted a week long family reunion ( 10 adults), all out of Brown Cabin. We also had two other couples visit with us at different times. We couldn't have found a more convenient location in all of Estes Park. The view from the picture window seat is awesome and the balcony off the master bedroom is perfect for early morning coffee. We found the 5 minute drive to either downtown or to the park entrance to be just perfect. The privacy surrounding Brown Cabin is one of the most outstanding features. Brown Cabin felt more like a vacation home to us than a vacation rental. We will definitely be returning to Brown Cabin in the future.
