The cabin is in a great location for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. We loved the roominess and large eating area, since we were a group of 10. We had trouble with the internet, no service for first 2 days, and the management company waited until Monday to contact the provider. If you plan to visit any time there might be snow, you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Even if you make it up the hill to the cabin, you will never make it out of the steep driveway. We had to push. Management offered to help get our things up to the cabin, if we couldn't make it up, but there is really no place to leave a vehicle at the bottom, and no place to park on the access road near the cabin, you have to go down into the driveway. None of this would be an issue in summer.
Only one television was an issue, since it was March madness, and the grandchildren really didn't want to watch basketball. The only television is in the lower level, very difficult for the great grandmother to make it down the stairs, we had her in one of the main floor bedrooms, which was OK, but we did not think she would have to tackle a flight of stairs. Foosball table down there is broken, un-usable. The cabin really needs a good cleaning, and I spoke with the management company about this, we found dirty bedding in the bunk bed room, cobwebs, lots of crumbs in the silverware drawers, food under the furniture in the lower level.
Overall, helpful staff, clear instructions on how to care for the property while there, great location. Not luxury accommodations, but comfortable for a large group.

Stellar cabin and a stellar location. Estes park is great and this cabin is very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for.
A few issues of concern:
1) The road is definitely rough getting in, so be advised
2) The check out situation was *very* disturbing. They are actually serious about leaving the place at 10am (completely insane, especially on a Sunday, Imho) and the cleaning crew will actually show up on the dot of 10am, surly and extremely aggressive if you are still there.
3) Even more disturbing - there is no recycling whatsoever. The cleaning crew did not even seem to understand the concept of recycling and kept referring to a bag of cans and bottles as "trash". We actually put over 100 cans and bottles in the garbage can. Unbelievable.

We stayed in July with 4 teenagers, 4 adults and 4 seniors. Very impressed with cleanliness and decor was cute. The upstairs bedroom is definitely a loft, no door, but roomy. Our biggest complaint was the small tub in the upstairs bathroom; should be replaced with a shower. Also, the king bed downstairs had some slats broken, but once propped up was comfortable. The main floor bedrooms were small, but adequate, and conveniently right across from the bathroom. Kitchen was fully equipped, but only had four coffee cups. Grill was adequate. It was quiet and felt secluded. Once you were in the cabin on or the decks, you could only see one other cabin. The views were wonderful. It is located on the east side of town, opposite Rmnp, but the drive into town was beautiful, didn't take long, and it was still easy to get to the park. There was no air conditioner, but with the windows open and fans on during the day, it was comfortable. We would recommend this cabin for your stay in Estes Park. Read more

Wonderful house, very roomy. We were a group of 10 adults and 3 very young children (3 and under). We thought it would be the least desirable room, but the 6-bed bunk room was perfect for a family of four, roomy and very comfortable. Four bedrooms for the rest of us, just perfect. Great views. Really a nice choice for any large group. Easy in/out with the entry code.

The house was perfect for our family vacation/family wedding. My family of 7 with my brother-in-law's family of 5 and our nephew joining us had plenty of room for us to share. The room with the 6 built in bunkbeds was a big hit, even for a bunch of teenagers. When we arrived we were a little taken by surprise with the drive up the mountain road. It was quite steep, but what a view from the house once we arrived!
The driveway also was quite an adventure, but with careful navigating, we could get a full size suburban in and out of it.
The house itself was clean and neat(my biggest concern,) but could have used a little sprucing up.ie:holes in screens,(had some moths attracted to lights at night coming in)some comforters and curtains could have been changed. They were very worn.Gas grill definately could used to be replaced.
The house was not far from center of town which was great for us. You could hike right from the house farther up the mountain for even better views, which some of us did.
we had a great time and made some great memories.

We have stayed with Range Prop Management vacation homes three times and have never been disappointed! This home- Perfect Mountain Log Home was awesome! We had 14 people and we all fit in our own spaces. There was enough living space that we got along well playing games (which were already in the cabin) on a rainy day. We had a marmot living nearby- he would sun himself on the rocks, not 20 feet away from one of the decks. Elk could be seen in the valley across the road (some 100 yards away) and deer walked by our cabin each morning (only 30-40 yards away.) There was plenty of outdoor living spaces and indoor living spaces for everyone to keep the peace! The kids had more than enough room to explore and the kitchen table almost sat everyone! Best family memories we could ask for.

Love the house, the decor, just about everything about it. We had a mixed group, grandkids, daughters, niece and nephew, and it worked out wonderfully. Our only problem was trash, as a bear had drug the container down the mountainside before we had arrived. My grandsons' were able to finally get it back to the house, but in the meantime we had trash accumulating inside as we didn't want to feed the bear anymore! It would've be nice to have an empty bear proof container ready for us. The house was very clean with a great ambience, would definitely rent it again. Read more
Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. Concerning the trash, we apologize for the mayham of the bear. When we learned of the issue, we were able to send someone to assess the cituation. This home is on the size of a mountain and the bear was able to move the container to a very dificult spot. All worked out well and trash is restored to its original status.
We hope you visit again,

The house is well-maintained, roomy, and comfortable. I have only two suggestions for improvement:
1. Replace the bathtub in the upstairs bedroom with a shower.
2. Replace the small residential style trash can and recycle bin with metal dumpsters that can be secured from bears by a sturdy chain. We had no choice but to put our trash outside in the trash bin, but the bin was not strong enough to prevent a bear from destroying it in search of food.

We had a wonderful time in Estes Park at this cabin. It was huge, beautiful, it was absolutely wonderful. The view was breathtaking. The pictures online do not do it justice. I would definitely recomend it to stay in. I would most definitely stay here again. You will not be dissapointed if you stay in this cabin.
