Great view and convenient. Steep gravel access road could be a challenge for rainy or snowy weather. Very comfortable with nice view of mountains. Needed some light bulbs replaced. Will definately rent again.

Bettendorf, IAJust what we were hoping for!
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We are so happy we went with Range Property Management and stayed at Pine Tree. We were thrilled with this vacation home. We experienced no problems and had a great stay with close and easy access to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. The neighbors are far enough away that it was very quiet and the view of Long's Peak - very spectacular. We liked the deck and put out the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed watching them in our down time. The loft spiral staircase is a little frightening and there is no washer or dryer. Those are my only negative comments. Estes has at least one laundromat if you would need it. If you want to watch TV, stay somewhere else, but we like to get away from TV on our vacations, so this place was perfect for us.

Houston, TexasAmazing view, nice house for a family
Left on 08/13/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This cabin has two queen beds downstairs, and a loft with small beds for children. Great for a moderate sized family. The view is spectacular - on the side of a ridge about 3 miles outside of Estes Park, with a great view of Long's Peak. There's a great porch on the side of the house looking out over the valley. The stairs to the loft are a narrow, spiral staircase, so they'd be tough to climb for anyone with disabilities. However, for kids, it's no problem, and there are a lot of games and books up there that kept our little ones (7 and 5) entertained for all three days. We only had one problem with the rental, and it was a doozy. We came back around 7 PM from a day on Trail Ridge Rd to find the water completely off in the house. We called management, who was not able to send someone out until noon the next day. It turns out that one of the toilets was running while we were out (sticky flap), which ran the well dry, which automatically turns it off. It can only be reset by someone from their water well servicer, who apparently is not available in the evening. The result was that we were without water for about a day of our three-day stay. To be fair, Range Property Management did refund us the cost of the cabin for that day, but we still lost a sizeable fraction of our holiday due to the issue. There really needs to be a way to ensure that this type of thing doesn't happen, and if it does, it needs to be fixed immediately. Other than this, it was truly a fantastic place to stay, and we would be happy to stay here again.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well the view that this cabin has, went beyond that. We found ourselves getting up at the crack of dawn to observe both dear and elk within our surroundings, then staying up late to stargaze the night. My fiance and I were married right on the landing next to the fire pit. This scene we had/created for our wedding was incredible. Our family have discussed the idea of making this an annual visit. We had brought a number of items along with, only to find a wonderful home that was stocked with just about everything a family could need.

We realy enjoyed our stay at Pine Tree. Even though there were other houses around they were spaced apart and it was so quiet it really felt like we were out away from it all. Amazing views too! We travedled with a toddler and were pleasantly surprised there was a hiking backpack for us to use. Also, we encountered a problem while we were there that was out of the control of the property managers and in no way their fault. When we contacted them, not only were they concerned with the issue, they took their time to help us solve the problem and even personally came out to the cabin to speak to us. We were very impressed and grateful for that kind of service and concern for their guest. We would definately stay here again.

Pine Tree was more than we expected! The cabin was roomy, clean, well stocked and had a beautiful view of the mountains. We drank our coffee every morning on the deck while watching the hummingbirds and ground squirrels play. The air is clean up there. The driveway and parking area was more than adequate, espesially after seeing some of the steep driveways of other homes near the Pine Tree. The loft area was a little warm and the spiral staircase was an experience but children would probably have no problem with either. Our rooms were on the 1st level. My husband and I were there with our daughter and son-in-law. The only thing missing was a 2nd shower but we worked it out with no problem. The stay was extremely enjoyable and we are ready to come back next year. We are also recommending Range Management properties to our family and friends. Thank you so much!

We checked in at 3pm and the floors were still damp and the place had just been cleaned prior to our arrival. Nice. The loft and bedrooms were very adequate for our family of 5 with an extra bedroom to spare. The directions were spot on but I could see having trouble finding the place in the dark.
The property was beautiful with views of Longs Peak and the foothills. We had a herd of elk feeding off the front porch after driving all around trying to find some, go figure. We shopped for groceries in town and were able to have breakfast and dinners at "home". All of the comforts of home in this place. The amenities were clean and all worked well. we also had all of the dishes, towels, garbage bags, and dish soaps needed to keep the place clean during our stay.
Our kids enjoyed the games and we spent some rainy days and nights playing Clue and having some fun family time. Only a short drive to Estes and Rmnp we were able to do all of the things we wanted to do during our stay and would definitely come back. -

For my husbands graduation from WyoTech, a group of us decided to get together and do a weekend in Estes Park. We found the cabin online and thought that it looked decent enough. Well, the pictures do not do it justice! The cabin is wonderful! We hope to start making annual trips to the cabin. Especially since the accommodations are so nice!

We love the house at Pine Tree. It is at the end of the narrow road with a sign that says "At Last" on the house. It has a fire pit outside to roast marshmallows. The area is completely dark at night and the house is a great place to stargaze. We are a family of four and brought two teenage friends of our older son with us, and the six of us stayed there comfortably. The boys enjoyed the upstairs attic area, which we called it the "man hole." The two teenagers' family also came on the vacation and rented another property on the same road within walking distance, and it worked out great. Kids played board games and read books while we are not out hiking or rafting. I would be the first one up in the morning, and I enjoyed sitting in the living room reading a book and watching the sunrise over the great Continental Divide right from the living room or the big deck. The view is incredible at this house. There are a lot of photos of the owners in the house, and I enjoyed looking at them. The photos show that this is a house full of happy memories. The house is well equipped with supplies, dishes, and more books and games for relaxation. I will definitely stay here again.

Great views and quiet, kids loved the fact they got to roam a bit. The layout of the house is good. The kitchen could be cleaner and the non-stick pans were completely ruined (health hazard!), so there was almost nothing to cook with. Also, the second carbon monoxide detector (it's the law) wasn't working and didn't have battery back-up.

We couldn't have been more delighted with our cabin. We are a family of 6 (children 11,9,8,5) and needed enough space for all of us,plus a good place to stay that was affordable. This cabin is in Estes, right up the hill from town (2 miles). Don't follow your GPS directly to cabin. Use the directions that are sent to you!
Very convenient location. Stocked with pans, utensils, knives, plates, cups, etc. Sheets and comforters on the beds and a fully stocked garage with activities - snow shoeing, cross country skies with boots, jogging stroller, etc. This cabin does have a grill and there is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.
1.5 bathrooms which is fabulous fora family of 6. Eating area, and an extra table for eating or playing games. Tv for Dvds. No internet or good cell reception. Go up the hill and can get cell. Living area and the kids loved their loft type of bedroom with three beds. 2bedrooms downstairs. Very comfortable for all of us.
Close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Small grocery in town. We did stop at a Walmart on our way to Estes. There is a safeway in Estes. Our kids loved the rock store in town where you can buy a geode. The store cracks open the rock and reveals the crystals inside. Great souvenir. The tour given by the ranger is informative. A bit long of a talk(1hr) on a short walk, but great info about the rocks, Rmnp, etc that we referred back to throughout the week.
Trail Ridge opened the last day of our stay. We did drive it and it takes someone who is not fearful of heights or plunging to the valley below. The snow was fun and there are many hikes with snowy trails.Be prepared with proper foot wear and jackets. The kids loved it.
We will stay here again. Great vacation! -

We were pleasantly surprised with the surroundings of the cabin and the inside interior. We planned our vacation late and had a limited # of properties available in our price range & Pine Tree was the best of the available. Beautiful views of Longs Peak out front windows . I would definitely visit this property again. Close to town yet far enough away to feel far in the mountains.

The garbage from the previous week was in the closet, we
did not know how to get in the garage to store garbage, could
have better instructions in location notebook.
Also, if we weren't on vacation, we would have given the place
a good deep cleaning, then it would have been perfect.
We enjoyed the fireplace and view.Response from Range Property Management - 03/08/2011
