Outstanding features are: the house is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with a spacious yard on a private road (safe play area for children) with immediate access to Hwy 34 within 4 miles from "downtown" Estes Park. Frontage on the Big Thompson River with a constructed rock bulkhead with custom made rock steps leading from the yard to the river. One can sit on the expansive deck - a portion covered - and "keep an eye on the kiddo's" fishing in the Big Thompson. There is a double car attached garage. The exceptional aspect of this property is there are two separate "l...iving, bedroom, and bath areas" under the same roof - allowing private togetherness. One area with a full kitchen and the other with a convenient kitchenette with cabinets, sink, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven, flatware and tableware. Two outside decks - one "Flagstone on the lane" with the other on the river. An upstairs balcony overlooking the Big Thompson River. Completelyi furnished including two big screen TVs, unlimiteed long-distance telephone, cable television, fireplace, and WiFi internet.

  My family and I stayed with my parents at “Canyon River” or what we described as "Precious".
  
  The worst thing about this presentation is that the pictures on this site do not do this place justice; I recommend others view the ones on the management company website. People should not be turned off by the photography! "Looks can be deceiving"! And that certainly holds true of the photos displayed here
  
  We enjoyed everything about the house. We liked the comfort and safety of sitting on the back deck watching our children fish daily on the Big Thompson River - my husband even got in the river a few times! We liked having two living areas under one roof as well. Any one of us could come and go without disturbing others in the household - no tiptoeing to the bathroom in the middle of the night. :o) The children could watch their TV and play their computer games while the adults occupied themselves elsewhere. We had all of the modern conveniences at our disposal - two big screen TVs, unlimited long-distance telephone service, satellite tv and Wi-Fi internet, and, even though the house is in the "canyon", there was no disturbance of satellite tv or other communications. In addition, the house has a private roadway serving the subdivision which has easy access to us 34.
  As a suburban, "city girl", I can recommend this house to people who are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and are wanting to hear the sound of the river and smell the aromas of spruce, pines or just the fresh mountain air. We plan on making "Canyon River" an annual experience.
