We absolutley loved the location, close to town yet far enough to be out of the congestion and traffic. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The kitchen appliances and amenities were outstanding. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck each evening. Having a large garage was a plus to store our hiking/camping equipment.

This beautiful home was a haven for my family during my son's wedding. This included children, significant others, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We walked to the reception at Crag's Lodge. We gathered on the deck every day to plan our excursions in this beautiful area. Everyone was comfortable, with just enough privacy. We could even walk to down town. We loved every minute of our stay.

As always, we had a wonderful stay at a Range Property management vacation rental. The house was spacious, clean and had all the amenities. The view from the living room and deck are unsurpassed. The home is within walking distance to the downtown area and a short drive to Rmnp. Next time we have to stay longer. The week went by too fast!

We stayed here in the middle of July and the weather was perfect! (We live in Texas..105+) The house was great, if I had to "complain" about anything it would be a lack of things for younger kids to do in the house. Maybe a few more games or bicycles would be nice!? Very clean, nice house with beautiful deck and great master upstairs! We missed seeing the bear that walked up the driveway by about 10 minutes (neighbors saw it and told us)...lots of deer and other wildlife though. Great vacation and would stay here again!

OklahomaWhat a view!
Left on 06/28/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We stayed at above Estes from June 17th through the 24th, 2011. First, let me say that the pictures do not do this home justice. The kitchen opens to the dining room which then is open to the downstairs living area, which has a large flat screen tv now. It feels spacious.
The living room has a wall of windows that have an unobstructed view of the Rockies! You can see the mountains while sitting on the couch! You can see the mountains through a window while sitting on the east side of the dining room table.
The kitchen is nice & big, with plenty of granite countertops, filtered water in the fridge. Great stove. We had all the things we needed, even a coffee bean grinder. Even a view out the kitchen window up the side of a mountain. I watched elk go by outside that window.
Because this house is sitting on the side of a mountain. It has a curvy road up the mountain to the house. Yet maybe 3 minutes from the main drag in Estes, by car.
It has a deck on the front of the house about 8? feet deep and 30? feet wide, and there is plenty of plastic deck furniture in the garage to put out on the deck. With that view.
The downstairs bedroom and bathroom are nothing special (bed a bit firm but I sleep on a memory foam bed so consider that) but the master bedroom upstairs rocks! My sister got that one, though, not me. North side of bedroom has wall-wide windows with that view of mountains that you can see sitting up in bed. Then there is a little deck off of the master that has a westerly view through pines and more mountains. The 3rd bedroom upstairs is plain, with a twin bed w/a trundle under it. We had some difficulty getting that trundle to pop up, but finally got it up.
The negatives or things that need improvement that I can think of is the downstairs bathroom tub fixture is tricky. It's easy to get scalding hot water or cold water, but finding the middle is tricky for the shower. Also, the trash situation is needing some help. We had a full trash receptacle in the garage when we arrived, had to just put our trash bag out in the garage, and then the garage stinks, put the trash out to be emptied on Wednesday morning and then there is room for our trash bags but the trash receptacle was full when we left on friday morning. A more frequent pick-up when there are back-to-back renters would be great. Not sure if that is an option.
Oh, and it would help if the house number were more visible, like on a stick on the side of the road. It is on the side of the house but love a duck I could not find it until I went up the stairs to the front door on the deck to see if we had the right house. It was midnight, so that had a lot to do with it because it was pitch black out and no lights were on at the house. If you arrive in the daytime you can find it just fine, I'm sure.
Truly just some minor things because overall it's a nice house with a fantastic view (did I mention the view?) and plenty of room. It's the best if you get the lovely master bedroom.
Oh and we saw a bear just across the road from the house! What a treat! We scared him with all our yelling about it and he high-tailed it up the mountain before we could get our camaras. lol. -

My wife and I met our son and his wife there for a vacation. Two keys would have been helpful. Two master suits worked really nice for us. We have been renting homes in Estes thru Range Realty off and on for 20 years. Some of the older homes like Rock acres are a little dumpy but the one we got this year was really nice. I didn't really need heating or airconditioning, but have no idea on how to turn them on if I needed to. Directions for some of the mechanicals would have been nice. In general,we had a great unit and had a great time.

My husband, three children and I loved this place. It was easy to get to and close to everything. The house is so spacious-plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was so quiet because it is on a dead end street so no through traffic. Close to the best restaurant in town (the lodge restaurant just down the street). Our kids loved the amusement park at the bottom of the hill. Very clean except the upstairs shower needed to be cleaned and the downstairs tub liner definitely needed to be replaced, other than that everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, appliances worked well. Definitely would come back here. We really enjoyed Estes Park (especially after we found the short cut around town rather than through).

Left on 07/30/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This home worked out great for my family. My husband and I used the first floor bedroom and bathroom, my daughter, son in law, and my 1 1/2 year old grandson used the second floor. This way whoever was up first had their own living area without disturbing the rest. We spent alot of time on the front porch. Each morning, I had my coffee on the front porch enjoying the view of the mountains.
