      Family reunion in paradise!

Left on 09/23/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had our family reunion here and had a wonderful week! The cabin was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We felt very at home. The kids got to stay in the bunkhouse and had the time of their lives! They said at one point that it was the best vacation ever! We also took advantage of the crafts that they offered at the Ymca. All in all we all had a wonderful stay. Thank you from the Hilbelink's!

      Loved every minute of it!

Left on 07/07/2012 for a stay in June 2012

We spent a week at Eagle Crest with our kids and grandkids. With a location on the Ymca Campground of the Rockies, there were activities available for the grandkids when the rest of us were in "time out". Bordering Rocky Mountain National Park, it also gave us hiking access to the Park and the Ymca Staff helped us plan hikes that were just right for the ages hiking.

Eagle Crest itself is a great place. It retains its old, early 1900's exterior and feel, but has a fully renovated, modern interior and is very tastefully decorated. We all spent a lot of time on the front porch, enjoying the mountain air and great view. The house lends itself to a relaxed, enjoyable time for the whole family, yet has WiFi so the younger generations can keep in touch and download movies, games, etc. Our grandsons spent much of their time climbing on the big rock on which the house is built, playing horseshoes, hiking, and doing outdoor activities at the Campground instead of playing video games, which was an unintended yet welcomed consequence of the stay.

What a great place to enjoy Estes Park and the mountains!

Left on 05/18/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This is a great vacation rental. Upstairs master suite and two bedrooms downstairs, plus a couple of other beds, sofas in other rooms! My wife and I enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary here in May of 2012. We also stayed at this property in December of 2011. Ranger Property Management (Ginger, Gene and the rest) are great to work with and will help you however they can. Just tell them what you are looking for (privacy, views, river etc). We have rented several other properties from Range and they are always top notch!

This property is at the Ymca of the Rockies but is a private cabin away from all of the normal Y activitives. You can set our on hikes right from the cabin, or you can just sit on the porch or on what we call the sunporch and enjoy the views. There is also a bunkhouse that we have not rented. Kitchen is well equipped and the bed in the master is very comfortable.

We loved it so much, we extended our stay!

Left on 11/17/2011 for a stay in October 2011

These photos do not capture the actual feel of this wonderful cabin. So charming from the minute you walk in the door. It was fun to get to know this space, to walk around and see all of the lovely touches--large and small--these owners added to contribute to the cozy loveliness. The cabin is perfectly appointed and has everything. The kitchen is great fun to cook in, and then to eat the meal in view of that wonderful fireplace? What could be better? My favorite spaces? Hmm... The living area with that wonderful fireplace and cozy sofa and chairs? And the sunroom--three walls of glass and amazing views of the valley? One day we watched a flock of wild turkeys walk by the window. The next day, huge flakes of snow began draping the pines until the ground was covered in 14 inches. Fortunately, we had already hiked up to the lakes in the park the day before, so now we could snuggle in for a few days, and do some snow shoeing! We loved the family of deer that decided to nestle under the huge pine tree near the gigantic boulder the house sits on, and then stayed the night and ate breakfast there next morning before moving up the mountain. We loved the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. We've rented many many vacation homes over the years, some in other countries. This is one of our favorites. Check in was a snap, and even though the boiler was snuffed out one day because of the huge storm blowing in all of that wonderful snow, Range Realty and the regular maintenance people were always checking in, and fixed it right away. To tell the truth, this place is so insulated and cozy, we barely missed the heat even though it was below 30 at night. We booked for the week, and then we extended! We just couldn't leave. My only suggestion? Maybe a family photo gallery up the wall of the stairwell rather than putting them on the tables which takes up a lot of the useable space? You've such a lovely family I hated moving them out of the way.

Eagle Crest was amazing and a great get away spot. The home was well manicured and clean. The view from the family room was spectacular. The home is located on the Ymca property offering numerous activities and facilities. It is also close enough to the town of Estes Park that picking up groceries or essentials is no problem. This is a great place for large groups of adults or families.

      Refreshing!

Left on 10/05/2011 for a stay in September 2011

My husband and I stayed at the Eagle Crest cabin with a group of friends in September of 2011. The cabin is situated in the most quaint location at the Ymca camp in Estes Park. It was more than what I had expected. The cabin was at the foothills of the most beautiful mountains, it was clean, comfortable and so welcoming. The cabin itself had room for four couples,a nice kitchen and large bathrooms, but they also have another
cabin, which they call a barn, but it is far from that.! It too was clean, had a nice shower and coffee bar, sitting area, where you could open all the windows, enoy the fresh air, read, relax, or take a nap.It slept six on bunkbeds and there was also a
very comfortable sofa, that could be turned into a bed. The location of the cabin made it so easy to go into the town of Estes Park to get groceries or window shop! They have so many wonderful stores, and one of my favorite was the candy shop where we all enjoyed several varieties of candy covered apples. The hiking was amazing, and all the guys and some of the girls tried their hand at fly fishing. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone who enjoys the mountains, fresh air and beautiful running streams! Margo

Wonderful Time in Colorado Mountain Setting

Left on 01/07/2011 for a stay in December 2010

A very relaxing and wonderful week was spent at Eagle Crest. We also rented their Bunk House for a number of days for additional family members. Both the main house and bunk house were a delight to stay in. Very clean, well stock with all the needs necessary to spend a week away from home. Two large Tv's in the main house with excellent reception. Many windows to view the beautiful mountains and a very good location to view wildlife. Both facilities were very spacious and comfortable for a long stay.

      Ladies Lap of Luxury

Left on 11/19/2010 for a stay in November 2010

Every fall, 8-10 of my family and friends, ladies only, stay in Estes Park for a crafting retreat. We found the Eagle Crest home on the internet and now this was our second year at this house. We all love it and plan to stay there every fall as long as we continue our annual retreat. The house is easy to find, very comfortable, large enough to accommodate all of us for sleeping as well as crafting, and has all of the modern conveniences. Sitting on top of an outcropping of rocks, the views from the many windows are incredible. We have often seen wildlife grazing and resting around the house. One morning we were even woken up by the sounds of elk bugling right outside our windows. I have recommended this house to several other friends. It is an amazing value and one of the best kept secrets in the Estes Park area.

      Beautiful and More

Left on 10/07/2010 for a stay in September 2010

A group of us whom were participating in the workstudy program for the yoga journal conference rented the cabin. It was a perfect home base for our assignment and study. We started the week hardly knowing each other and by the end felt like we were a regular family. The best part was having the opportunity to share meals together using the amazing kitchen and dining area. The views are amazing, the beds very comfy, the fireplace (so cozy), the elk in the morning an extra added touch and the experience just wonderful. Thanks for making this available. This place is perfect for friends and families wanting a gathering place. The owners have done a wonderful job. Would like to rent it for next years conference as well. Thank you so much.

Left on 08/19/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Our family stayed in the house and the bunkhouse. It was the perfect space for 13 of us. Everyone had their own personal space, yet plenty of other spaces for great family dinners, games and visiting. The sunroom is definitely a site to behold. We absolutely loved the mountain feel of this home, yet so close to the Y camp, Rocky Mountain National Park and all there is to do in Estes Park.

Our gathering was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was beautiful. You could tell this home was a treasure to its owners. It felt warm and inviting. The pictures on the internet did not do it justice. I have stayed many times in Estes Park, CO and find this trip to be the most wonderful. It felt like home.
