Spacious apartment (170m2) with front view over the sea!
Living room, dining room and kitchen have full sea view, two double bedrooms overlook the garden. The suite's bathroom has a hydromassage shower and Turkish bath. The bathroom supported the double rooms have a bath. Shared bathroom in the lobby. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwashing machine, washing machine and dryer machine.
The apartment is in a condominium with pool and tennis court (in the apartment there are two tennis racquets and balls for use by customers).

The apartment is in 5 minutes walk from the beach and train station to Lisbon or Cascais.
The local beach is a cove beach protected from the wind, but excellent for surfing. The beach is guarded and has rental beds and shades. There are two restaurants on the beach.
At a distance from 50 to 150 meters there are restaurants, pharmacy, medical clinic, supermarket, post office, banks, hairdressers, shops, gym, beauty center, mini-golf and outdoor cafes.
The typical village of Cascais is just 10 minutes by train, Estoril and Lisbon 5 minutes to 25 minutes. For the town of Sintra buses run in Estoril train station or you can travel by car / taxi and are about 20 minutes.

The accommodation was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Although the trains ran just below the balcony, it was in no way offensive or disturbing. The view was spectacular. The property was in a great location for visiting our friends, Lisbon and Cascais.

The apartment itself had great facilities and was very spacious. It was well kitted out with things to do and had a plenty of channels on the TV. You do need to take care with a young family since the kitchen window opens up fully and the balcony is easy to climb on. It was a bit different being in an apartment in a mainly residential block. The pool was excellent but not heated so October wasn't the best time for using it. The beach in the bay near the flat was great but the food was a bit pricey in the cafes there. There is not a lot for tourists in the area since it is mainly Portuguese living there. There are a couple of supermarkets but best be organised to get on the train if you don't have a car. The station is nearby and Cascais is only 10 mins by train and Lisbon about 25mins. Get some travel passes and top them up. Overall it is a great place to stay with the beach nearby but I think most nights you would want to head to Cascais or Lisbon for dinner. Thanks to Miguel from Portuguese living for looking after us well. Take care when going there because it is in San Pedro do Estoril and not Estoril itself which wasn't entirely clear from the address.
