  I moved in during March of 2010. In less than 6 months my rent was raised by $100 per month with the rental company claiming they were losing money on other properties they owned and needed to do something to keep their head above water. I know of 4 other tenants that moved out for the exact same reason at about the same time. I wonder how that worked out...
  
  I will say that the places were very clean and spacious, with nice accomodations but not worth the money they were charging.
  
  I would also like to point out they were not advertised as vacation rentals, they were executive town houses on a month to month lease.

  We find the statements made here to be somewhat perplexing. The timing of the rent increase this guest mentions (the only adjustment we've ever made to our rates) was perhaps unfortunate for the individual but, when asked, we did try to give an honest explanation of why we were required to make that business decision at that time. This explanation had nothing whatsoever to do with "other properties" or “keeping our head above water.”
  
  We always strive for client satisfaction, and though very rare, there are times when someone is not satisfied. We always honor our contracts with tenants and this tenant chose not to have a long term arrangement which would firmly lock in rates for the duration of his stay. He was given 30 days notice of the price change and chose to relocate. That was his right, and we respect that, just as it is our right to determine prices for our units. We do not claim to be the lowest priced lodging opportunity in the region. We do believe, however, that we provide superior lodging for those needing long term accommodations with a ‘like home” feel at a fair price. The market has shown this to be the case as we enjoy long term tenants, and repeat tenants.
