We recently stayed at Lake Forest and couldn't have been more pleased. The depiction on the website and positive reviews and ratings are accurate. Our cabin was very clean, very comfortable, and very accommodating. The staff was warm and welcoming. The location of the resort is nice and the proximity to Starkey Marina is a plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!!! Immaculate cabin, with kitchen and bath supplies provided. Appliances, dishwasher, soap, towels, Big porch with dining table. Beautiful views of the forest, Swimming pool, beautiful grounds. Can't say enough good things, Great and friendly service. Private and peaceful. One negative, no wi fi. Very comfortable.

Love the name! LOL. I'm so happy that everyone enjoyed thier stay here and I hope to see you back soon. I'm sorry that I have not been able to get Wi-Fi to all the cabins as of yet, but I have been looking into it. It's just soooo expensive to accomplish, and we do not have many options as of yet out here. But I will keep working on it. As you stated, it is available within a 100 ft radius of the office. We just spent a week here, wow it was so nice the pictures don't come close it really is bettter than the pictures!! a very cozy little getaway from the hubub and very quiet. There are Deer that come on the property near dusk the pool is nice as well. The place is very well kept inside and very clean with new furniture and the bed is so comfy the cedar scent as you enter the cabin makes you feel like your in the woods.( ha you really are) We will not forget this cozy stop and it's very private too just a short drive to Eureka Springs!

We found exactly what we were looking for when we set out to find a cabin nestled in the woods with a relaxing, yet not too far from town, atmosphere. The bear cub layout was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents + my sister's family. There were 8 of us + a baby & it was very comfortable. More people could've fit easily! The accomodations left us feeling very much 'at home'. We made a big breakfast one morning, using the fully-equipped kitchen (They left no stone unturned!), enjoyed the pool one evening, and then sat out on both porches several times & took it all in. The Passion Play wasn't far & neither were the downtown Eureka shops. We liked it so much that we plan to go back every year now! Thank you for such a great weekend! We, literally, couldn't have asked for more! Lake Forest far exceeded our expectations!

We had the most relaxing time here.Wish we could have stayed longer. Very comfortable and nice kitchen to cook in. Loved all of the lodge decor!! Such attention to detail...especially the wildlife dishes!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. I felt so relaxed, with the jacuzzi tub, and the openness of the cabin, Maria did everything to make us feel right at home. The location is very convenient but also secluded. It was wonderful. i plan on coming back and spending time with my whole family. Absolutely lovely!!

the cabins at lake forest were exactly what we BOT needed.. My 50TH birthday celebration and the hustle from kids and work all went away as we relaxed and enjoyed the serenity of the resort. We want to thank maria Emmensely for all of it.

We have stayed at Lake Forest Cabins five times in the last two years and we love it! The location is easy to find and close by Beaver lake and Eureka Springs. Other touristy spots are an easy drive for a day trip. The cabins are reasonably priced for the area and are always clean and neat when we check in. We love having our own kitchen(we don't eat out much). We really love the quiet of the cabin and the surrounding area(we have a 2 year old at home) it helps to relax and recharge us. Maria, the owner, has always been great when we make a request. The only draw back is Internet access is very limited. If your into that heavily it will be a problem. A great place to stay with your significant other!!! We have not brought our family yet so we can't tell you what it would be like with more than two people. We will continue to stay there in the future.

My husband and I wanted a romantic getaway. We were looking for a log cabin in the woods. That is exactly what we got. Beautiful luxury cabin. We have decided that when we build our house this summer, we are going to mimic the cabin we stayed in we loved it so much. Comfortable and cozy enviroment. When it came time for us to leave, we really didnt want to. It was everything we ever wanted in a cabin rental. It was like a home and the price was very cost efficient for everything we were provided. Every night we spent we had a roaring fire in the fire place. It was wonderful. Every morning we would get up and set on the back porch and watch the deer come up. The cabin we stayed in was call whitetail. i understand why because of all the deer early in the morning and late in the afternoon. The hot tub to die for. We wanted to forget about our city life, jobs, and every chaos and just relax. Lakeforest cabins provided that and much more for us. We look forward to coming back next year. The drive from the cabin to Eureka is beautiful and breathe taking. The management very warm , helpful, accomedating, and welcoming. I am very pleased with our stay there. I showed the pictures we took to our friends and family. Everyone was in aww.
The cabin fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Just throw your clothes in a bag and stop off at the grocery store to pick up a few things and your set. The cabin beyond my expectations. Truthfully the stay there saved our marriage. We live in the city and work all the time. We grew apart from each other and lost communicaton. Our stay there, we were able to find each other again and now more in love than we have ever been. Looking forward to seeing you guys next year. -

We found our cabin at Lake Forest accommodating. However the stay there at Lake Forest cabins was unwelcoming. As our evening was disrupted by a visit from a local law enforcement officer at 10pm. Our family was questioned regarding a fire at lake forest which took place during our absence as we were out on a fishing trip and dinner. This made us uncomfortable and unable to truly relax so we could enjoy our weekend.

Hello Spring Breakers, In response to your review, I profusely apologize that you had to be disturbed by the Sheriff in the questioning about the fire. The Sheriff responded as quick as he could and I (owner of Lake Forest Cabins) truly had no choice but to contact law enforcement to have a report filed and investigation started in regards to the fire for my insurance company. I did not want my guests disturbed but the Sheriff said it was the only way to complete his report on the incident since we have no idea who had set the fire. Once again, I truly hope that you accept my apologies in this situation especially since you are a repeat customer of Lake Forest Cabins and hope that you come and stay again. Thank you for your patronage.

This was our second stay here. We were in the Wilderness Cabin in May of 2009 and loved it so much we brought a larger group and stayed in two different cabins this year. They are all very clean and well kept. The view from the upper balcony is beautiful. Maria and the staff are very accomodating. Everything you need is there, from the pool to video check-out. Additionally, check in and out is the easiest we have ever experienced. I can't say enough...
