Lincoln, NebraskaQuality rental near Table Rock Lake
Left on 06/10/2013 for a stay in June 2013
Clean, modern, spacious 1 bedroom rental near the lake. My wife and I spent our anniversary here. We were a last-minute rental - owners responded quickly to our inquiry on tripadvisor and had everything ready for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again. Advantages of this bungalow include: wifi and computer with internet, Jacuzzi tub with showerhead, nice comfortable bed, proximity to Table Rock Lake, and accommodating owners. Only disadvantage is being right on a fairly well traveled road.

My husband and I stayed at Blue Water Bungalow with out two small children (ages 2&3) while visiting Eureka Springs. The place was very roomy, clean, comfortable and had every eminity that one would need. Joe was quick to respond to calls and text, helped with directions, and was able to assist with ticket purchases to The Great Padsion Play. We had a great time and plan on visiting again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were quite comfortable. Owners were very helpful, left information packet suggesting places to eat, visit and directions which were most helpful. We will most certainly contact Joe & Laurie again for our future visits to Eureka Springs.
The bungalow was very clean and well equipped. loved the location...

Andover, KansasRelaxing, quiet weekend getaway

The Blue Water Bungalow was more like a home away from home experience than a hotel or condo. It is furnished like a home with new, clean comfortable furniture, full kitchen, TVs, computer, etc. It is super clean and very spacious. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils needed to cook almost any meal and we also used the charcoal grill to cook steaks. The bungalow is located in a small, quiet community so it's easy to unwind and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery. We also enjoyed fabulous breakfasts at a cafe just a half mile down the road. I highly recommend the Blue Water Bungalow for anyone looking for a quiet, romantic place to stay!

We recently stayed at the Blue Water Bungalow for our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived, we were so pleased that we called to extend our stay. The cottage was roomy, comfortable, beautifully furnished and had everything you could want or need. The location was great as was the view. The Gunnells were wonderful Christian people to do business with! We will definately return and encourage others to choose it for a great spot in Eureka Springs to stay! Thanks Joe and Laurie for helping to make our honeymoon a memorable one.

The house was clean and well furnished. Our problems were: the bed was only a full size; the location was on a corner lot with a moderately busy street early a.m. beside the house; and there isn't a separate shower from the jacuzzi. The view from the deck was good, however the traffic was a distraction. It was a nice neighborhood and no problems with neighbors.

Owner
We are proud of our 5 star rating, which doesn't mean that every guest has been 100% happy with everything about our cottage, and their reviews and comments are accepted and appreciated. That being said, there are things in this particular review that simply are not correct and must be corrected. First, the bed is a Queen Size bed, not a full size bed. The guest was unhappy because he "thought" it was going to be a King size bed. Second, there is a shower. It is a shower wand and is part of the jacuzzi tub. We now have a wall bracket to place the wand in, as well as an oval shaped shower curtain that hangs from the ceiling so you can stand up while showering. Prior to having the wall bracket and curtain you did have to sit while showering. We are very excited about the new shower situation. It was a very costly thing to do, but we know it is well worth the investment to make our guests stay with us even more perfect.

The cottage was as advertised, which is always a surprise (if you travel as much as we do). It was surprisingly roomy, and was very tastefully furnished. Everything needed for a great time (kitchen and bath necessities, comfy bed, and good TV / video setup. Thanks for keeping such a nice place for us.

My wife and I stayed here during our Honeymoon. We were amazed at how beautiful the cottage was! It was very very clean. When we were there it felt like we were at home! The place is decorated beautifully. The views were excellent! It has nice porches that make great areas for grilling, sitting, and enjoying the views of the lake. You could not ask for a better location. It is just minutes away from the downtown area. I highly recommend staying here. Thank You so much for everything! We hope to see you guys again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Bluewater Bungalow to celebrate our 16th anniversary. What caught my eye when selecting a getaway, was the pictures indicated on the website. We were pleasantly surprised to find this best kept secret. It was furnished with beautiful decor that made you feel welcomed as soon as you walked in, so much so that we hated to leave to sightsee .

Left on 12/07/2010 for a stay in July 2010
My wife was the one who actually found this cottage online. I pretty much just went along with it. I had the opportunity to talk with Joe before our stay and he was very helpful in giving us directions. It is located close enough to Eureka Springs to drive and have a good time, but far enough away to leave the crowds behind and relax. The cottage was great. We loved the Jacuzzi tub and the internet access was a big plus! However, we were told that we would have our "favorite" beverage in the fridge waiting for us to find out that there wasn't any drinks for us. Overall it was a great trip! We will definitely be back!!
