      Another lovely break.

We have stayed here for several years now and will continue to do so. The location never fails to delight and the accommodation is exactly what we want. It helps of course being able to take our two dogs who now recognise the place as their own - not to mention the excellent under-paw heating. Actually this is the only fault we have ever found, sometimes the heating is too efficient, but not this year - oh no, exactly what was wanted in sub-zero temperatures.
      Friendly, helpful, hassal-free service

Great location for a relaxing country break

Left on 02/24/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Had a really nice weekend at The Coach House with partner and our six month old daughter, stunning views from the property over Porlock Bay. Equipped with everything needed and finished off to a really high standard. Had some lovely walks and early evening wanders down to the Weir and the lovely Ship Inn.

One top for visiting Porlock - don't bother with the Old Chapel for lunch / drinks - we were turned away as we had a pram with us, owner really rude. Not impressed. Fortunately had a brilliant lunch at the other Ship Inn so all good in the end.

      Top notch

We stayed at the Coach House last weekend and as ever was a real treat. We have become regular visitors to both the Coach House and The Stable Block over the last couple of years.
We have stayed in many and varies places over the years, and have to say that this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Very comfortable, very spacious, fantastic views and literally everything that you need. Situated in its own grounds, yet a short stroll down to Porlock Weir.
We cannot recommend these places highly enough, and will certainly be returning again. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed for my birthday weekend in November 2012 & the Coach House is lovely inside & out. The views are wonderful and the area is fantastic. I didnt want to leave. Our rescue dog just thrived in the gardens & on the beach. There is so much to visit nearby in the spring/ summer - Dunster Castle & village, Selworthy tearooms, travel on the steam trains etc. Porlock Weir is a relaxed area & lots of walks in all weathers. The Coach House was lovely & warm, fully equiped & we will definately return again

Left on 11/22/2012 for a stay in November 2012

Beautiful place, well equipped, comfortable, warm and spacious. Ideal location as can walk to Porlock Weir's pub and several eating establishments in 5 minutes. Great place to take a dog with a garden to access too. For a one bedroom place very spacious and great sea view from kitchen window. Under floor heating a treat. Lots to see and do locally, whether a walker or not. We always enjoy the peace here and it is very quiet in the evening, especially when we come which is out of season. Last visit was the third time, will definitely come back.
