Positives: Very clean, homely, comfortable furnishings. Great value for money. Super amount of storage space around the house. Five minute walk to centre of Eyemouth. Good places to eat nearby including delicious ice-cream!
Negatives: Table in kitchen too small for family meals. Can appreciate keeping garden low maintenance but would have liked a place for the children to play without gravel underfoot. Bed in downstairs bedroom was ok but not great.

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean house. Easy check in with a lovely plate of homemade shortbread waiting on the table, and some sweets for our 4 and 6 year old. Only 7 mins walk down the hill to the beach, the supermarket, swimming pool and play park not to mention tennis courts on the door step. Very family friendly house and the photos don't really do it justice! Would definitely come again.

Excellent service.
Dining table too small and 'double!' beds very narrow although everything else was great.
Fascinating place Eyemouth with interesting museums and wonderful walks. A superb number of excellent eateries. Wonderful to see a thriving fishing town. We ate fresh fish and more fish!!! -

A warm welcome from the owners. A well equipped , spotlessly clean home and beautifully warm with full central heating.
Eye mouth is a small fishing town with plenty to watch around the harbour. The Coastal scenery, wildlife and walks are great and the local swimming pool is a good amenity only 5 mins walk. -

We had a great time. The house is very clean, well equiped and only a short walk from the sea-front/harbour. We frequented the Contented Sole pub several times which is a friendly 'local', fed for seals in the harbour, had fish 'n' chips and home-made ice-cream from McKays and had happy hours on the beach (especially hunting through rock pools!). The Church restaurant is excellent is you don't mind the prices! We can also recommend Collins fish-mongers/counter at the harbour. Eyemouth is also very accessible for North Berwick, Edinburgh, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh. All in all a great holiday.

The weather was cold & wet, and unfortunately, the heating in the house (coal fires, mostly) took a while to get going. Went through quite a lot of coal, and could make the place comfortable, but it took time. And the local hostelries weren't yet open for the season. Would be lovely place in more reasonable weather...nice garden, right on the seafront.

The house was clean, warm, well equipped, and very comfortable, and spacious. Definitely would go there again! Good Location as a base for trips, lots to see, located in a lovely village with a good beach and all amenities. Makes a great holiday!
