Bryn Meurig Bach is a stone-built cottage adjoining the owner's home in the foothills of the Cader Idris Mountain Range, close to Fairbourne beach in North Wales. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The owners are very friendly, give lots of information on local walks. Cottage very clean, compact and warm. Patio area lovely, amazing views, lots of birds including a pair of buzzards and their offspring. Very little in the way of local amenities as this cottage is located in a very out of way place. There is a shop and excellent fish & chip shop in Fairbourne. Loved it because it is very quiet & very comfortable. You will need good walking legs cos the hills are very steep! The owners run a pottery and you can have a lesson if you wish.

A wonderfully renervated property with superb views overlooking Fairbourne. The owners were welcoming but not intrusive. A fabulous holiday ina home from home property which had everything you could possibly need. The property is about a 15 minute walk from the railway station in Fairbourne but it does involve a steep climb to the cottage - the owners were kind enough to pick us up and take us back to the stationwith our cases.

We enjoyed a peaceful, tranquil stay at the cottage. The views were brilliant, the location wonderful for walkers like us and the facilities more than adequate. The owners were lovely, helpful and available for any queries or problems but otherwise kept a discreet distance. One obstacle was the steep, rugged vehicular ascent to the cottage but this was pointed out on booking.
