Description
Just 30 miles from Nashville and 10 miles to Leipers Fork, this 1952 log cabin, is a piece of paradise. Located 8 miles from the Natchez Trace, we are an ideal place to begin, or end, a ride down the Trace. (You can leave your vehicle here, if you are cycling). A dirt drive brings you to the cabin, most likely, Patches, our dog, will be out to greet you.The entire cabin is yours to enjoy.There's no TV, limited Internet, and cellphone service, making it easier to unplug, and relax for a while. This is low stress, rejuvenating, slow, country living and it is good for you! The cabin is clean and comfortable. Good tasting spring water comes straight from the tap and there is unlimited hot water. The cupboards are stocked with breakfast supplies. Go outside for a minute before retiring for the day. Take a look at the stars overhead. Listen to the frogs and crickets. Remember life is good. Then sleep, deep, and well. There is queen sized bed in the bedroom, and in the living room a single bed, and a full sized futon.We have guests with severe allergies, so no smoking is allowed in the cabin. It is allowed on the screened in porch.We are just across the yard if you need anything and we are oh so happy to provided any needed assistance. The $135.00 rate does not include Flipkey's booking fee. Looking forward to hosting you.

“Retreat”

“a quiet piece of heaven”
Very comfortable cabin with all that was needed. Took a little while to get used to not having internet connection. But once we did, the quiet was wonderful. Watching the birds was amusing.
