Over the Christmas/New Year period we are heavily booked - please check the live availability.
Luxury retreat home on Tasmania's East Coast. Located on ocean frontage the property features four master bedrooms with en-suites and robes, a gourmet kitchen and butlers pantry, outside BBQ and fireplace and a heated plunge pool on the front deck. In winter enjoy the gas fire, heated bathroom floors and towel rails in this magnificent luxury rental sleeping between 2 and 10 guests. We fully respect the privacy of our neighbours. Functions are not permitted.

A group of 8 of us stayed in the Ocean Retreat for 2 nights during a recent trip to Tasmania. The property is spacious, modern and well equipped (all kitchen utensils, CDs and Dvds, boardgames etc) with a stunning view out onto the water. Only the Master Bedroom on the top floor has views out onto the ocean, however the view from the dining / lounge easily makes up for it. It was a real treat, being able to eat breakfast with that view.
The little touches such as heated towel racks and tiles in the bathroom really put the finishes on this beautiful home.
Our only issue was we lost hot water for one night – we had somebody come to fix it however they were unable to and it was not fixed until the next day.
Falmouth itself is fairly isolated, requiring a 20 min drive to the shops (this is stated quite clearly when you book). However, if you come well prepared there is plenty of space to keep food for your stay. Neighbours are friendly and quiet - the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
