PARADISE RETREAT GUESTHOUSE is based in Falmouth near Montego Bay, Jamaica. The area is within walking distance to the newly developed 2007 Cricket arena and is 20 minutes drive to the Sangster Airport in Montego Bay. Paradise Retreat Guesthouse is ideal for individuals, familiesfriends and groups wanting a first class and unique experience of the Caribbean in a family run environment.

The size and location of the property will enable individuals to feel relaxed, safe and comfortable. WeddingAnniversary parties Birthday parties Reunions Church conventions Inland and overseas business cooperation's Specialist events planners. Paradise Retreat Guesthouse can accommodate up to 20 guests and is well presented and of a very high standard, the theme and design features the original property from the film Gone with the Wind'.

The ground has a large open courtyard with water features, well-maintained gardens and parking for approximately 10 vehicles. The property features a banqueting hall with bar area and Internet cafe, which opens out to the rear garden area. There is a general store, reception area, office, security and helpers quarters.

The property consists of a large main reception area with a beautiful winding staircase. It has a bright warm, bright and welcoming dining hall, comfortable living area, well maintained and fully fitted industrial kitchen and utility room. There are eight exquisitely designed, double en-suite bedrooms with balcony's. The property also includes a uniquely designed, self-contained honeymoon suite.

  I will never stay here again nor recommend this house to anyone. I rented the home for my wedding last month and rented 7 of the rooms for the house for my family. Upon planning, the owner was very agressive with collecting payment almost to the point of harrassment and was not very accomodating on a few things. The meal plans were expensive and they barely wanted to give us more than a spoonful of food items for each meal. When we asked for more servings, an attitude became apparent each time as if we didnt pay for the food. They were supposed to ask what we wanted for each meal and not one time did she take a request from any of us. She lied and said that she asked but no one recalls talking to her at all. She cooked what she wanted to everyday with no regard to any of us. We stayed Fri-Mon and only on Sunday afternoon was the rooms cleaned and linens changed for the guests, only because I made mention to her. The common area baths were not cleaned prior to arrival and was never touched during the entire stay, including the restrooms that were used by the wedding guests that reaked of urine. They advertise weddings but are not accomodating to fixing and moving things that are not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I had to pay extra in decorations just to mask some of the things that are not appealing for photos. The home owner invited herself to the wedding and collected food from my wedding and served it to her additional guests that were also staying at the home; guests that paid them for a meal on my dime. They offer free shuttle to the beach and when we asked where the beach was, no once did she volunteer to take us but advised us as to where it was. When we asked to use things such as a radio for rehearsals, an attitude was apparent. What I disliked the most is that I was missing alcohol from the wedding and it was found amongst the owners things, hidden. The house is beautiful as far as view is concerned, but the service was horrible.
