Set on top of a hill, this villa features views over the Algarve coast and the Atlantic Ocean.... There is a covered outdoor terrace with a dining table and chairs that overlooks the swimming pool and surrounding landscaping. The private and heated swimming pool (5m x 12m) is surrounded by a sun deck. Parking is available within the property grounds.

Main level: The entrance hall has tiled floors and leads to the living room where there are couches, a fireplace, satellite TV, and DVD player as well as double doors leading out to the terrace. A dining room has a table and chairs and a kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. There are three bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 150 cm narrow queen-sized bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a 150 cm narrow queen-sized bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and separate tub. The third bedroom has two 85 cm narrow single beds and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Upper level: A staircase leads up to the master bedroom, which has a TV,
150 cm narrow queen-sized bed, separate dressing area, and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and Jacuzzi tub. There are also doors leading out to a terrace.
Lower level: A staircase from the kitchen leads down to a cinema room with a TV, DVD player, and surround sound. There is also a separate games room with a ping-pong table, foosball table, and pool table.
The property is located about two kilometers from Santa Barbara de Nexe, a village known for it’s 400-year old white-walled church and bell tower, which is a display of both Gothic and Manueline art and architecture. You will also find restaurants and shops, including ones in which there are baskets, hats, and mats woven from palm leaves from the local women. A short drive away is Loule, a charming inland town with shops, restaurants, and a six-day-a-week indoor market with excellent fresh fish, fruit, and vegetables. Loule is also home to many ancient architectural buildings and ruins including a 12th century castle and the 13th century Church of Sao Clemente. The annual Carnival is held in town each February and is considered one of the best in Portugal. For day trips, be sure to visit Faro, the capital of the Algarve, and Vilamoura, which features excellent golf courses as well as many pleasant beaches with water sport opportunities.

Please Note:
• Three of the bedrooms have 150cm narrow queen beds; the usual size for a queen bed is 160 cm. The fourth bedroom has twin beds which can be put together to form one bed, upon request.
Superior experience. The keyholders provided exceptional service. Very organised with regards to meal preparation. The meal options were great, and the cooking was wonderful.
The view of the valley below from the decks, and the swimming pool size and cleanliness.
The drive up to the property was rutted after successive rainstorms which made navigation a bit tricky.
Very safe and easy to navigate from the villa to the various golf courses at which we played.
