      Great "cozy" cabin!

Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013

This "cozy" cabin is conveniently located on the north side of the lake, about a 20 minute drive to Big Bear Mountain. It has all of the amenities needed to make it your home during your visit - plenty of cookware, dishes, cups, etc. and even a BBQ grill on the patio.

The weekend we were there, it was so warm that we wanted to make a fire in the fireplace but it was just too warm! I'd definitely stay in this cabin again!

Note: The entrance is on the second floor so there is a flight of stairs you have to walk up. This may be a consideration for older travelers or people with disabilities.

Great cabin with a great view of the lake and mountain

Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in December 2013

The service was Excellent I called in to ask a few question and they were very nice and helpful. The house was very nice and clean, had a vintage feel to it. love that they still had stuff like records and old board games. Enough beds to fit 5 comfortably. It is a pretty far drive from the main bear city, and ski slopes. If your there for the lake it is great because there are a bunch of rental places right across the street. There was no check in or anything like that which was great. They leave the key for you right at the door for you. I really like that because you don't have to drive to pick up the key and drive to drop off the key.

      horrible experience

Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012

The place was not cleaned up when we arrived. Our family trip was all ruined on the first day. My kid as all shocked to see all the mess...(Stinky trash bags, messed up beds, floors...and the bathroom was a nightmare...When I call the office, they told me to 'understand Them' since it's the busiest times for them... Omg. thanks for ruining our family trip.

      Great stay

Left on 12/06/2012 for a stay in November 2012

Had the chance to stay here again. Second time in one year. It's a great little cabin with a decent view of the lake. Very quite and cozy. No BBQ set this time around and could have use some cleaning tools such as a vacuum cleaner. Other than that it was a great stay

A gift from my wife to do some fishing with the guys on my 52nd

Left on 11/21/2012 for a stay in October 2012

I had a good time bud I was hoping that it was just a little cleaner; it was nice to just walk to the water and do some fishing. So that was a good thing. And it did have all the things needed to cook, sleep and clean up when done. I was hoping to have TV in the bedroom and patio table that was missing, bud you can't always get what you want you get what you need, P.S. I did have a good time.

Have fun in the lake house.

Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Every thing was fine except for the internet. Super slow. Perhaps for some people that culd be a plus. After all, you don't want a fast-speed internet for a get-away vacation. Agree?

      Very relaxing

Left on 07/06/2012 for a stay in June 2012

This is our second cabin we have rented from Cool Cabins. We were bringing our boat on this trip so we wanted to be close to the lake and that we were right acrossed the street! The cabin had a awsome deck and the inside was like being at your Grandparents home. It was like going back in time but still comfy we had a great time at this cabin and will stay there again soon.

When we first got there, we couldn't find the lock box with the key in it. There are two lock boxes for this cabin. One below and one above the stairs. Make sure you look for your key upstairs. Other than that, the cabin is nice and cozy, with 2 rooms + bed outside. If you're staying there in the colder months, make sure you leave the doors open to both rooms, because you'll freeze if you don't. The heater is located outside near the kitchen. The bathroom had great ventilation and was it wide enough for anyone to maneuver around in. The chairs in the eating area smell a bit funky, so don't sit on them. Other than that, we had a great stay, and I'll be recommending this cabin and bigbearcoolcabins to my friends as well.

      Great Views

Left on 03/10/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Pines N Lake in February. The lake had a thin layer of ice in the mornings which melted as after a few hours of sun. The cabin is very nice with a great fireplace, full kitchen, and a fantastic view of the lake in the front and a great view of the mountain in the back. The place was very quiet and relaxing. You literally go for a hike in the back yard. If you like the outdoors with the comfort of coming to a cabin at night, you'll love this place.

Left on 01/25/2012 for a stay in January 2012

Very easy to check in and out. Very nice view of the lake from the large deck. The cabin was clean and the heater works well. I wish the beds were more comfortable but every- thing else was great. We will stay again at a Big Bear Cool cabin.

      Nice Quiet Location

Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in November 2011

We have rented this cabin twice. It is located in Fawnskin on the quiet side of the lake. Nice peaceful lake view. The cabin's furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is clean and cared for. The cabin is well stocked with the necessities and is a good home-base for a Big Bear (small sized family) vacation.

Great place, great location. Really comfortable and big. Has all the amenities that you'd like or expect. We caught trout and fried them up in the cabin's kitchen. Couldn't have been better.

Lakefront cabin at a reasonable price

Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in August 2011

This cabin is across the street from the lake. Breathtaking views of the lake from the balcony. The cabin was clean and for the most part the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. (could use a covered large fryingpan) The furnishings are older but fairly comfortable. The steps to the cabin are steep but managable. We would highly recommend this cabin and Cool Cabins
