We had a great time at Big Bear. Beautiful scenic area. Quail Cove was next to San Bernadino National Forest with the Bald Eagle protected area. It was quiet, clean, well maintained, friendly owner, and lots of time by the fireplace. Our last day had nearly a foot of snow. Beautiful country. Looking forward to vacation there again in the Summer.

We stayed in cabin 1 and it was adorable and perfectly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the lake was gorgeous. Cable tv and a big fireplace were a added bonus also. The managers were super nice and very helpful. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying there in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in Quail Cove #1 for his birthday weekend. While not as rustic or secluded as some other cabins may be, we found it to be a great starter cabin (especially for me, who has no experience with cabins or Big Bear). It was super clean, with pretty much everything we needed to do some light cooking (except napkins). This is definitely a great choice for someone who would like more of a hotel experience (in that there was a main office nearby, and they were available if you needed anything, including new towels). I fully approve!
