Blue Moon Lake House Lodge is a beautiful lakefront home located on the North Shore in Fawnskin. Perfect gathering for your next stay in Big Bear. The property includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms with pool table, flat screen cable TV, DVD player, gas burning fireplace, wireless internet, washer/dryer, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and pots/pans. Stayed at this cabin with 15 family members, cabin was very spacious and verry Well equipped with all cooking supplies and plenty of blankets, beautiful lake views and a quiet neiborhood. Great if you own or rent out your own jet skies or water sports supplies. The lake has a lot of kelp by the dock so it is very difficult to swim in or even jump into the lake off the dock. You would have to go further into the lake with boat or jet skies etc where it is deeper and cleaner where you are able to swim.

This was our first year in Big Bear and it was a blast! We enjoyed the water, the weather and the cabin.
2 things that were negative that I would hope will be addressed...
We were not able to get into the cabin until 7pm. We sat outside for 3 hours waiting for the cabin to be cleaned.
The refrigerator never did freeze any of our food and it took 2 full days for the food to get cold.
We would definitely return as our time spent was priceless with our family.

Poorly maintained property! Loose boards on stairway. Bbq grills very inadequate, need a gas fired unit, a real unit. Sliding screen door inoperative.

Very good house to spend some good times, it was my first time renting a home in big bear, i have a wonderful time there, I really like the patio deck to do some
BBQ cooking. I will go back in winter. -

We rec'd exceptional service from the Big Bear Cool Cabins staff as they responded efficiently and professionally to all our questions and needs. The cabin was really nice, and the teenagers really liked it, especially the pool table and the jacuzzi, although it took forever for the water to warm up. It came well stacked with towels, cooking utensils, etc. The location on the lake was ideal except that it was a ways from town or any shopping areas. I do think though that for a capacity of 14, they should have at least 3 bathrooms.
