What Past Guests Are Saying
John & Bonnie Wilder
Homenest Farm was beautiful-a little bit of this side of heaven!
Our visit to Homenest Farm resulted in a lasting friendship with
the people belonging to this family-owned operation, and a most memorable experience. Since we had just bought property in this
general area, our stay at Homenest confirmed that we had made
the right decision for eventually retiring to this part of rural Maine!

Home Nest is the best we have ever come across
What a beautiful place to find peace and contentment and end up as friends instead of clients. 'Home Nest' is aptly named. Gorgeous surroundings; well stocked larder; well prepared, very comfortable house. Visited in both Fall and Winter. Mountains to climb with the family, skating on their lake, cross country skiing, lobster BBQ, songs around the piano were some of the special times that invite us to return again and again.
Wonderful hosts reflect the beauty of their surroundings.

It will be part of our lives forever
We stepped back into a different world when we came to Home-Nest-Farm and we have been enriched by the serenity and beauty of this place many times. Somewhere inside yourself you look back to a time when things were different. Wholesome. This is the most peaceful place we have ever been. The hosts are gracious and loving and we became like family. These people have warm hearts and they love what they do. That love showed in all they did.
We left part of our hearts there forever.
We know that we will go back again someday, it is a big part of our lives.
