      What a wonderful Thanksgiving

      We stayed at Hidden Falls for our Thanksgiving vacation with our friends. It was a wonderful time for all of us. The service was amazing. We had Thanksgiving lunch and we couldn't have done it better. It tasted just like home without all the fuss. The location of the home was a bit far from the main office and the barns but we actually liked that. It made us feel as if we had the mountain all to ourselves. The home was gorgeous and full of everything you could possibly need. I think the only thing the owners could add a few more of is regular drinking glasses (glass or plastic). We were also disappointed to find the large screen TV and internet box was not working. While it was a disappointment it did not ruin or vacation by any means. There was plenty for us all to do. We spent 1 day riding horses and going to Grandfather MTN all of our boys had a great time a great time playing in the woods. The evenings in front of the amazing fireplace was probably my most favorite time of the whole weekend. I was truly a relaxing weekend for all.

      Little slice of heaven

      Absolutley breathtaking and relaxing cabin. The mountains are so peaceful. Sunsets phenomenal! The Leatherwood staff, well, you won't a find more friendly, helpful and professional group of people. Make sure to pack a picni lunch one day and take the time to go find the "Hidden Falls". It's well worth it (and really not too far of a hike).

      Hidden Falls is a beautiful house in a very quiet area of Leatherwood. We would definitely stay at this house in the future. There was one issue- when we checked in we were told about bees that had nested somewhere in the house. In fact we were given some spray in case the bees became a problem. There were a lot of bees, and one night I was walking without shoes and stepped on one. Would have been a problem if someone was alergic to bee stings.

      A Thoroughly Wonderful Experience

      Our son and daughter-in-law were married at Leatherwood in June 2010. Our family stayed in Hidden Falls for the weekend celebration. We also hosted the Rehearsal Dinner at our cabin. The home was spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked. The covered porch in the back was exactly what we needed to entertain.
      We thorougly enjoyed our stay. The views were breathtaking and the staff could not have been more accomodating. Thank you to everyone at Leatherwood Mountains.
