Welcome to the page for our condo at Silver Rock Condominiums, Fernie. We also have a second 1-bedroom property in the same building available for rent - this property is almost identical (see property ID 2186 or listed as 124 Silver Rock).
The condo is just a five minute drive from Fernie Alpine Resort. You are also just a 10 minute walk from Downtown with all of the shops, supermarkets, boutiques and bars.
The unit consists of an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, private balcony (with BBQ) and in-suite laundry.

Fernie Alpine Resort is located in the south-east corner of the B.C. Rockies on Highway No.3 approximately 60 km (40 miles) from the Alberta and U.S. borders. It is 5 km (3 miles) from the City of Fernie and only 1.5km up the hill from the highway intersection.
Whether driving yourself or taking the bus, the road to Fernie will lead you through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world. The drive is easy with no major mountain passes and the roads are well maintained.
Your trip here is part of the Alpine Resort experience. Be alert and you'll see Big Horn Sheep, Elk, Moose and Deer as you venture into the heartland of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

This place is so great and so well kept! The kitchen is stocked!!! A chefs dream!! The condo has an awesome selection of movies and games for the ps3. We loved this place. Only thing missing was handsoap. Wish they also supplied bath products... The owners are awesome with communicating! It's really close to the resort. Unfortunely the conditions weren't good when we were here. But we will be back next season for sure!! Thanks for the great place!!!

Our stay in Fernie over the February break was wonderful! The Condo was exactly as advertised and had everything to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. My husband & I and our 2 children (10 & 12) were on our first ski holiday and having this condo made things very easy...there was lots of room for all of us to sleep & relax; having the washer & dryer insuite was a great bonus! We will definitely stay here again!

The location is convenient, the condo very clean. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub after a day on the slopes. The condo worked out great for us.. the kitchen was well stocked for us to make our morning and evening meals. Would definitely recommend!

Great condo. Clean and well maintained. We were very happy with the accommodations. It was well stocked with all kitchen utensils and dishes you could need/want. Plenty of linens for the bed and pull-out couch.
The location was only a few minutes from the ski hill, and only a few minutes from the historic Fernie downtown district.
We definitely enjoyed our stay, and if we snowboard at Fernie in the future we would rent from Joel and Kelly again. -

Our stay in Joel Convery's condo was very comfortable. The place was clean, the kitchen was extremely well equipped with all of the essentials provided, including coffee, herbs, soya sauce, etc., the bed was comfortable ( we appreciated the bedside reading lamps ), the furniture in the living room was well laid out ( again, we appreciated the reading lamps ), and really, we have nothing to complain about.

We had an amazing time at this condo. It was a really close drive to the ski hill and had everything we needed and more. We loved the fact that it had it's own washer/dryer for those wet ski clothes! The owners are great and went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful vacation in Fernie. After a long day at the hill, it was nice to come home to our own place where we could relax and feel at home. We spent quality time with the kids watching movies and playing board games. The unit had everything we needed, however, our two teenagers could have used their own space. The pull out couch was convenient but a little tight for the two of them. Overall, we would definitely recommend this unit to our family and friends.

Very comfortable, this unit is like new. Kitchen is modernand oart of the bigger room. The underground heated garage means your ski clothes and boots are warm when you leave for the hill. Great value, 10 minutes to the hill and 3 minutes into town.

Condo was wonderful. Due to rain on the ski hill, we spent a large amount of time at the condo, and it was great to have the convenience of making meals, a fireplace, wireless internet, and hot tub. Condo had all the conveniences of home including towels and in suite laundry. Only a couple minute drive from the nice downtown main street was great for grabbing an effortless after dinner drink or early morning coffee. Only thing I would have changed about the weekend was the rain.

We stayed at this one-bedroom condo in august 2010 as our base for a weekend in Fernie. The building is recently built and is clean and well maintained.
The condo we stayed in was quiet (no noise from the surrounding units) and really well set up for our short stay. Full kitchen with all appliances and a living area with TV / DVD etc. Plenty of storage and closet space throughout the unit. There is a sofa bed in the living area and the unit is able to sleep 4 people. Bedroom was a good size with more closet space and a huge King bed.
The building is a couple of minutes from the ski hill and townsite by car - really an ideal location. Online booking process was easy and we collected keys from a nearby hotel reception. Fernie has all regular stores that you'd need so short or long stays at this location are no problem. Book your time, sit back and relax! -
