Enjoy a wonderful time in a cozy and tipical menorcan house in a UNESCO Reserve Biosphere. The house has a shaded garden, parking and barbecue in a quiet street surrounded by pine trees and orchard and vegetable gardens. You can enjoy a stunnishing sunset over the hills while having dinner under the garden trees. The airport is reached in approx 25 minutes. In a 10 minutes drive you reach Cala Galdana (Blue EU flag, kayak and boat rental, bars, restaurants,..) and the best virgin beaches in the south coast of the island. In ferreries, 8 min walking from the house, there is a bus stop to many destinations (Mahon, airport via Mahon, Ciutadella, Calla Galdana, etc.) and a taxi stop. Bars restaurants, supermarkets, local groceries market, bakeries, pharmacy, public health centre, etc. are between 3-8 minutes away.
7 minutes drive to the beach of Cala Mitjana (virgin beach with azzure waters), 10 minutes drive to Cala Galdana (Blue EU flag). From there you can walk to the nicest virgin beaches in the south island. One of the nicest walking paths in the island starts in the house. Ciutadella is 15 minutes away by car. Mahón is 25 minutes away. The closest beaches on the north coast are at 20-25 minutes.

Hortansia, votre hôtesse, se fera un plaisir de vous renseigner sur les bons plans de Minorque. La maison est joliement décorée, à l'ancienne, et constitue une base idéale pour découvrir l'île. Et la belle Ciutadella n'est pas très loin... Seul inconvénient : la route à proximité qui gâche un peu le paysage.

Hemos estado 8 días en esta casa antigua en Ferreries, Menorca y nuestra valoración es excelente. La casa está muy bien cuidada, limpia y tiene mucho encanto. La zona de jardín es una maravilla: puedes leer, comer y relajarte. Tiene varios árboles que ofrecen una gran sombra en verano, una zona para barbacoa e incluso una ducha. La casa está muy limplia y es cómoda para pasar unos días tranquilos. La ubicación de la casa es interesante para visitar diferentes calas, como Galdana, Mitjana, Sant Tomas, etc. Fornells y las playas del norte están a una distancia muy cómoda. También está a 15 minutos de Ciutadella y a 30 minutos de Mahón. Muy recomendable!

I stayed here a few days last year to enjoy some autumn sun. Ferreries is well placed to get to and from either Mao or Ciutadella. Its also very easy and quick to get to the coast from where we went horses riding along the seafront; a truly wonderful and exhilarating experience! The house is huge and very rustic with a very unique, shaded garden which is very peaceful. A lot of love has gone into this house and i appreciated this a lot, unlike your usual hotel, staying in a house like this feels authentic. Its a big house with different floors so a family could easily stay here and parking is not an issue at all. anyone staying here should defiantly ask the owners Carles and Hortensia for a recommendation as they really know where to eat well and at a reasonable price!
