Doornogue is a five minute walk from the magical Hook peninsula and lighthouse. It's a large well-appointed house with comfortable rooms and lots of space, particularly for groups with children. There are fantastic views, lots to visit locally and plenty of peace and quiet. The location is remote, however and a car is essential. We did attempt the walk to Loftus Hall, but had to turn back as it too far for little legs!
All in all, a magical, remote place, great for a family gathering.
