Impressive traditional HARBOURFRONT house with stunning SEA VIEWS providing spacious accommodation. The bright sitting room/quiet room overlooks the harbour with open fire and plenty of comfy seating, and a particularly good feature is the second large sitting room spanning the whole of the upper floor with superb views, LCD flat screen tv., hi-fi and comfy seating. The kitchen is well equipped and a separate utility room provides laundry facilities, which in turn leads to an attractive area of garden to the rear which is enclosed, together with side access for bikes etc. WIRELESS INTERNET.

St Andrews just 15 minutes by car, and just... 5 minutes along the coast is the village of Elie with it's award winning Blue Flag long sandy beach, watersports centre, golf course, tennis courts etc.making this truly a superb choice for families, golfers or romantic breaks.

Catering service available on request for short breaks (from breakfast and/or dinner cooked for you in-house or freshly prepared Scottish fayre delivered to your doorstep). There are also good restaurants within walking distance. Off street garaged parking on request.

A well behaved pet is permitted by arrangement.

Additional Location Information

Once a prosperous fishing village it is now very popular with tourists. Its architecture is dominated by pantiled roofs, brightly coloured cottages and outside staircases. A 750 year old church watches over the village and the windmill of St. Monans, dating back to1780, is about a 10 minute walk along the coastal path towards Pittenweem.

There is an excellent seafood restaurant at the west end of the harbour overlooking the sea plus the Mayview pub serving excellent food. An exciting new addition to the village is The "East Pier" Smokehouse is open every weekend and is brilliant

  The East Neuk is a wonderful area for a holiday and to have a house just a stone's throw from the sea made it even more memorable. Harbour House had everything we could have asked for and more. The second sitting room on the top floor was a bonus and every time my husband disappeared I would find him relaxing up there. We were so pleased to find such clean,comfortable accommodation with all mod cons which takes dogs as well.

  Excellent location and beautiful house well maintained

  The house was in a great location and the house was well maintained, it also was well equipped and very clean, we all felt so at home in the Harbour House. Plenty of walks to take dogs and nice wee bars and restaurants to eat out at,we had a meal at New Year at the Mayview Hotel in St Monans it was excellent and the locals made us feel very welcome so much so they invited us to a charity night on the 1st January 2012 to a singer /disco night it was excellent fun.
